Another pin series I am glad I am not after. Good luck to all of you!
I see that...jeez, louise, I would love to know who the heck is buying those sets at these prices! Are they just not doing the math?
Well, if they're Rapunzel collectors their math probably works like "It's the same price as a DP Rapunzel / marquee / Compact / top PODM scenes and we get these 4 other couples for free!"
The more i look at images of these pins, the more I like them. I dont collect them but I find myself quietly wishing I could have been there for a set... Something to frame and put on the wall. lol
I'm doing the same thing. So I have resolved to print off pictures of them, frame them, and from far away, no one will notice the difference!

Well, I think it's best to get them now than later, of course if you can. I remember this thread was bump a couple weeks ago and people were thinking (back a couple months ago) that the $750 for the Rapunzel Designer was way too high. Now look what has happened. There are people selling her for around that price or higher, and the value has yet to go down. Now with the princesses posing with their princes, I wouldn't be surprised if they go up even more. Technically you are getting two characters in one pin, so ten in that set just with a higher LE size. Anyhoo, I hope everyone eventually gets the pin(s) for this set that they want!
Mmmm. Usually, this would be true...but the starting price of a pin set has never been this inflated right of the bat, either. I find it's best to wait just a little after launch. Because right at launch, people are duking it out and panic buying, but if you wait too long, the rarity has kicked in and the value spikes high. there's a sweet spot in between those two places that's usually the best time to buy.
Pins see-saw all the time. I watched a lot of the old DA stuff shoot up to $300-500, then sink back down again. Now, some of them will never be cheap, but the chances are good that anything that spikes unusually high (for its given value) will come back down somewhat again.
If this is the price it settles at (which I doubt), then I'll just resign myself to never having it, because to me, it's unreasonable.
Little off topic... Was going to post it in the other thread to cut the tension but it got closed
Anyone think it is possible that these exact pins get released in Tokyo at the D23 Expo coming up but in smaller editio. Size kinda like the 110th legacy collection did awhile back?
Im looking into making the trip to Tokyo on hunch that this may happen ... Anythoughts?
This is part of the designer series which I am fairly certain will continue.
