2013 Fairytale Designer Collection
I hope everyone was able to get the ones they wanted. My DS doesn't seem to be too popular (thankfully) so they had over 10 left when I last was there this afternoon (I just so happened to be by there). If anyone didn't get one I can call and see if mine still has some and pick one up for you ^_^

I hope she lasts as long as Snow has. She is one of my favs, but unfortunately I'm too broke to get her this week. So broke, in fact, that I'm selling most of my orginal designer princesses so I can get Rapunzel. Fingers crossed she lasts until my next payday.

Omgod I want her so badly. But I only have half the funds for her at the moment. :( pure regret I can't get her and I'm sure she'll be gone by this weekend when I get my check. Wahh!!

Here are pictures of mine before I put the plastic case back on. My camera wouldn't focus on them both for whatever reason, though, so Rapunzel is mostly in focus. Flynn is still pretty hard to see, but I think it's an improvement. I would have moved them more dramatically, but I had no idea how to deal with the metal stands. So I just left them alone, as not to break anything.

They look amazing! The pose works the so well with them. Glad we chose the same pose. Your pictures look so nice.

Is her braid tacked down? I'm not a deboxer but if I could move her braid to the front without cutting any strings I might do it.

Her braid was tied with a rubber band around Flynn's boot. And the bottom of her sleeve was also attached to the main part of the dress (I think to keep the braid going under her arm).

Oo, gotta resist the Rapunzel set! All these repositioned pictures look amazing, but I just can't swallow that $140 price tag! Pity, because I'd be all over this set at $100. Maybe even $110.

Here's a picture of Rapunzel and Flynn on display. I have small purple (they look blue in the picture) lights shining on them. Sorry for poor quality and lighting, this was taken on my phone tonight. Unfortunately Flynn gets lost again in the back even with his repositioning. I may get some smaller regular lights to enhance him more and make the set stand out on the shelf. I keep posting pictures, I am in love with this set.

I got my Rapunzel in store!! Yay! But of course I didn't notice one of the cardboard corners isn't tucked in! How do you take off the case without damaging anything!? Any advice? I'm scared!!! Eek!

I got mine also. 1706 of 6,000. Lisa ( manager) thinks BATB is going to be hardest at store. She said lots of people have been taking pictures. The mugs are gone and they only had 3 journals left. Ugh!

So should I stay up to Midnight tonight (central time?) or 3AM? I've heard it both ways. =/

New merchandise goes live at midnight Disneyland time (Pacific time), so it would be 2AM for Central time - it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes before you can see the new stuff in the category pages and "New Arrivals"

I got them!!!! My store in Austin got in 13 sets and there were still 5 left when I got there at 5:30 tonight...they're beautiful!!

I went to my disney store in the RGV today. 6 dolls total... maybe 20 people came, not sure if they were collectors, or re-sellers... but at least I saw one or two older ladies who were collectors and very happy to get their dolls. :)

My boyfriend, and my friend came with me... my boyfriend got drawn first! Then I got called second! I told them to choose someone else since my boyfriend already got the doll... but then third my friend got picked!!! LOL So, let's just say the people waiting were so happy that I was not a re-seller! I would have got half of the dolls. I had the disney luck today!!

My doll is so pretty, but I think I am going to open the box and fix rapunzel's hair, and Eugene's face....
Have some crappy cell phone pics!

My own De-boxing and re-posing!

Wow! So much better! Great job! :) Now why couldn't the Disney Store pose them like this in the first place? Putting Eugene to the left of Rapunzel seemed like the most natural place for him to be instead of in the far right hand back corner (I did notice that you turned the box sideways so that the name plate is to the right, but so that Eugene is more visible)! They look a million times more romantic. Eugene's eyes still bother me. They look unfinished.

I got mine today too! My store had 21 dolls and I believe they sold out today! However, I think everyone that was present managed to get a doll. I took a support team with me today too and my friend was the first one drawn!

Now all I need to decide, will I debox them......I've never deboxed any of my limited edition doll so it makes me nervous. But Eugene is my FAVORITE male character out of all the Disney films and I'm so annoyed I can't see him.

So I have a question for deboxers: if I debox them, do I have to rip the cardboard backing to get the doll stands out? Or am I able to repose them without having to do that?

If these are the same as the Designer Villain cases (which for all intents and purposes they are apart from having two doll stands), you might be able to take out the doll stands without ripping the cardboard. The part of the doll stands that attaches to the base is a metal pole that pushes into place. I've never removed one of these doll stands, but I have pushed one back into place. It was with one of my Designer Queen of Hearts dolls that arrived with a wobbly doll stand until I pushed it back into the base and it has stayed firmly in place ever since. Before attempting to remove the doll stands, do detach both dolls completely from the cardboard first. You don't want to tear any of the fabrics.

Grats to everyone on their Rapunzels! I was happy that my mom picked out a good one for me - upon seeing her with the lid off and all I like her a lot more. One of my stores had 24 and another had 32. My city by itself gets about 100 I believe - not positive on that number.

Thank you :) I didn't/couldn't remove the stands so I had to resort to turning the base around. I noticed that underneath the cardboard there are plenty of holes for placing the stands. If I could manage to get them out and re-glue them, I'd be one happy camper! Maybe I'll try with some non-acetone nail polish remover, that seems to take glue out well. Any ideas/suggestions?
