Good luck finding it. It released 9/13 and sold out at WDW in 20 mins at the 4 stores (and ROE event) that had them.

It released on the DS Monday night and also sold out.
 
I LOVE it!!! Greg got me one for my birthday (the 12th of Sept) as a surprise during the ROE event. It will be the purse that I carry whenever we travel as it is much larger than I would carry for everyday use. It is great quality and the HM Wallpaper pattern makes it extra special. I love DB bags, but, didn't want one with the multicolors of many of the Disney DB bags. This one is perfect!!

Congrats, Debby! I'm glad you got one. I had it in my hand and then decided not too. I have two large Dooney and Bourke's for travel. One is my Tinkerbell Marathon LE purse. The other non Disney. So I opted for the cross body character purse. The leather one, I don't like that they are making the white character bags in a satiny material. Will get dirty fast. But the Haunted Mansion one is black.
I truly hope you get the bag. You shouldn't have a problem getting one now. It is gruesomely gorgeous.

Not to discourage you make sure you buy it on-line just got back from DLR and The two stores on Main St didn't have it also World of Disney outside of park didn't have it as of this morning. They said the sold out of them with in a hour after opening on the 13

I would love for them to come out with different sizes. Or a different print with the hitch hikers. Don't get me wrong I love this purse and the print is so wonderful but, I am not sure if I would carry a purse this big for everyday use. Just for more options and of course something I can afford. Although, if I had an extra $300 to spend it would be on pins!!! I'm addicted. Hahaha. No prob for the friend request I've actually been meaning to. :)

Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous purse! But the $330 price tag is steep, even for Dooney. Add that to the fact that it sold out on the first day and that pretty much means, blagh. If you can't afford it (at least comfortably) and you can't find it even if you had the money for it that totally sucks. Maybe I'm just getting really bitter but it just seems like lately everything that's really cool is not within reach. Why bother selling things at all if you only have enough for 20 minutes. Or in the case of the Fairytale stuff, for less than 5 minutes. It just doesn't sit well. Ugh, maybe I'm just in a bad mood cuz it's still early and I haven't had my caffeine yet :/
 
It's not a LE purse, so they will get it in stock again. The first wave always sells super fast, and the quantities stores had available were super small. For WDW, they listed the ladies store at the Grand Floridian as a place carrying the bag (Summer Lace) and I know they only got 4 of them, and 13 people were waiting when the store opened. But I also know, they took names so that they could get those people their purses as they got more stock.

And the Disney person responding to comments to the blog post keeps saying "The new bag is not limited edition; however there are limited quantities available in the first order."

So maybe if people post when they hear more are coming, or when DS.com has them in stock again, then people can get their bags.
 
I got this on the website Sunday night, I was at Disneyland on the 13th cuz it was my bday and the Disney Blog said that it was supposed to be in 3 shops: Disney Clothiers, Elias & Co and Vault 28. Unfortunately, when they got their stock in on the 11th, they received less than 50 purses, so they made a last minute decision to move all the purses to Vault, and gave out wristbands way early that morning. (Was told all this by one of the heads of Disney Merch) I was soooooooooooooooo mad because I had been waiting at the gate to DL and had I known that they would only be at Vault I woulda been waiting there. Next shipment is expected in December. Mine is due to arrive on Wednesday :)

Oh I'd really like a bag with the hitchhikers on it, they're my favourites. :D
 
I'm hoping that the rush to get the bag will have died down by the time I go. I really, really at least just want to see it in person. To me, it is a fabulous bag, and one that I can take anywhere, because on first glance it doesn't look Disney. Which is why I wasn't into the other bags. LOL Does that sound blasphemous?
