Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
Has anyone gone to the DSF pin release before? Do people camp out, like they do for the dolls?

So I saw the jumbo Frozen pin from the UK site. It says worldwide LE of 450 on it. Does that mean that it's also going to be released here in the US? If it is I hope it's not for an event that I can't get to.

It does look a lot like the one being released at DSF of Elsa and Anna but I still want it :wat: lol

I have never gone as I do not live in Cali, but I have heard of people who camp out. One of the Ariel pins I purchased last month, the person who sold me the pin told me they had camped out the night before. Pretty crazy. The pins sold at DSF usually sell out within an hour or so. I love their pins, I wish they had a DSF here :(

No you don't have to camp out for pins anymore. There is a raffle system now for DSf releases. You need to show up about an hour before the release time and you get a wristband and pull a number from a raffle drum and the number you pull is your place in line. So if your voucher says #103 you place in line is the 103 person to buy the pin. So no need to sleep over or camp out now cause you can be first in line and spend three nights in an alley and still pull #500.

DSF has a voucher system now where it is suppose to discourage overnight camping.

With the voucher system, you have to line up in the alley beside DSF by the time they say they will stop giving out wristbands. You obtain a wristband. The staff counts (sometimes incorrectly) the number of people that got a wristband and they cut out vouchers for that number. They put the numbered vouchers in a drum that they use to mix the numbers and a staff member picks out a random voucher to give to the people in line. According to that random number you have on your voucher you stand in line.

So, with this method, it does not matter if you show up the night before or the morning of. Everyone has an equal chance at pulling a good or a bad number.

Some people, however, are afraid they might oversleep or they live too far away so they decide to arrive the night before to make sure they are there for their wristbands.

It's really up to you on whether or not you want to spend the night but the voucher system was made so that you didn't have to.

Hope this helped! :)

Elsa is absolutely gorgeous!! I can't wait to see pics of Anna cause I think she is going to be my favorite out of the 2

Thanks everyone who replied about the DSF procedure. Unfortunately, I live very far:/ I'm surprised that they don't have one if Florida as well..... It would make sense to have one in downtown Disney. I SOOO wanted that jumbo Little Mermaid pin released a few weeks ago or maybe a month or 2 already....

Okay now I totally love the doll. Embroidered snowflakes! Yay!

I know nothing about how to get pins. Mine have ALL been bought on ebay. :(

Maybe Elsa will come out in winter and Anna in spring? Maybe that's y the CM are saying two different dates of soon and much later.. just a thought...
You know, you may be on to something. When I asked this week about the dolls, I asked about the release date for Anna because she was the one that was rumored to come out first. I was told she was coming out later. so maybe that is what they meant. I did not ask for Elsa because their was no talk about her being released now. Noe we know Elsa is coming out soon, so maybe that is why all this confusion and the information at the stores.

That is possible but the only thing I still find confusing is that the UK website already had both listing for Elsa and Anna.....you would think that if they had both postings made that the dolls were coming out closer together.

So confusing, we will all know soon enough though just about another week to go!

This is very confusing..but yes we should know soon...if I were Disney I would probably release Elsa in winter (ice) since she represents that season and Anna in Spring (green) since she represents the Springtime after the movie has become a hit and known to others...but of course as a collector i would hate Disney for making me wait so long for Anna bc I really want them both NOW lol but business standpoint it wouldnt be a bad idea to separate them...

On Facebook on the Disney Limited edition doll page members are saying a post says CMs are telling one member Nov 20th both dolls will on display....????...yep I'm really needing Disney to post something official soon lol...I haven't been collecting very long, only for a few years, but I've never been this confused of a release lol...if what Disney wanted was a surprise and confusion then they got it lol
