I am also broke! I have enough money for the dolls and pin, but I'm going to be eating cereal for the next month hahaha! I got a letter from Student finance today (I live in the UK) telling me that I get a grant of £79 per term at university! WHich I didnt know I got!! SO more money for dolls hahaha
 
I just phoned the 2 stores near me (each one is about 45 minutes away, not too far, but not close enough to pop in). Anyways, the first store said that sadly, no, they will not be getting them in (the cast member was pretty disappointed about that himself). The second store manager said that they are supposed to be getting them in, but that they have no idea when. (the cast member who answered had no idea what I was talking about and got her manager for me)

Not very helpful! Way to keep things underwraps Disney :)

same here, I said I know something before you. I bought Kierstyn and I, Elsa t shirts for the movie. Animation Dolls are in the store now.
If anyone finds out the exact date, please PM me as I only stop by every once in awhile.

I hope the UK disneystore gets those t shirts! They're so nice!!
 
hmmm....even the French FB page is stating that the dolls are being released Nov 4th.......in France is getting the dolls on Nov 4th then the dolls wouldn't be a pre-order since Europe never has pre-orders. That would mean that the doll are coming out and are available for purchase Nov 4th.....hmmmm....Disney you are being very sneaky with these dolls!

Yes they are! So much conflicting information. I could understand if a specific store has not received information and they really don't know, but it seems like they are randomly giving out information. After I had been told the 4th, I was then told nothing until the movie is released which at this point I do not believe. Maybe that CM really did not know, but even if that is the case, what happens when the person that was told a later date goes later only to find out that the doll was sold weeks in advance. In that case an "I'm sorry" will not cut it. I think they are trying to avoid people going crazy for these dolls, but giving out false information is not the solution either. We are all so anxious, being sneaky will only drive us mad! lol. Why are you doing this to us Disney, why?!? :anxious::banghead:

I agree. It kind of peeves me off because some of us need to plan! I mean you'll have people staying up until 12, 2 and 3:00 in the morning....but as one who works a full time job and has to be up at 4:30am, it would be nice to know. Every time I have to get up at 2 to order dolls, I'm wiped out for nearly a week.....

The same thing happened at one of my store when the Ursula and Eric dolls were suppose to be released. One place said they were getting them on the 15th instead of the 1st. I guess the cast member didn't know any better Suppose to be starting a new job in November so I hope I don't miss it Wish the dolls were being released next week, for I'm free and available then.
 
Even if its a surprise Id rather have no information than wrong information... Like others have mentioned, if I call and am told they will be released on nov 4th, but actually come out on oct28th that can cause me to lose out on the dolls or potentially lots of money if I need to get them second hand.
 
Hey guys! I ended up caving at work tonight and bought the toddler Elsa. We got her Wednesday and I just couldn't resist anymore haha. We also got in the Elsa singing doll, which I am going to pass on for the LE 17" Elsa. Here are some pictures of toddler Elsa. Enjoy!





And here's a picture of my current display for my Frozen collection. I'm eventually going to have to move them because the collection is growing rapidly.
 
LOL, sorry guys but I think we are all getting really worked up! Maybe that's what the evil geniuses over at Disney wants! LOL, we always are able to find out at least a day before hand. So we should remain calm and not worry too much.

Disney is really making this a surprise release with very little info which in a way is fun ^^ Keeps us guessing!
 
Ursula and Eric were a "surprise" release too and they were announced on the Buzz. We should get some kind of warning before they hit the site for sale. It wouldn't make sense for Disney to release them without a specific event (like the movie hitting theaters or the Blu-Ray) or an announcement somewhere. Unless it is like China Girl, was she announced at all? I saw here in the store about a month before the film hit, but passed because her mouth looks so off, and later I realized that it didn't even match the character's.
 
Elsa's toddler doll is sooo cute! We just got them in our store today but I resisted! I want to wait until I can use the 25% discount for family and friends week! I was only lucky that Anna wasn't in, I may not be strong enough to resist her cuteness!

No China Doll was not announced on the blog she was a surprise release however people on the forum were expecting a release around that time but not of China Doll. I think everyone was expecting something Peter Pan related but we got China Doll instead.

Hmmmm... I don't want to put too much stock into her release because she was a different typw of doll and for a live action film. But it does make me worried that the Frozen gals will just show up with no warning. Thanks ya'll :)
 
Well we at least have two possible release dates so at least that is something ^^ plus these dolls will be coming to stores, unlike China Girl, so the CM's should at least know the Friday before their release ^^
