But if information for an LE doll is generally released to CM's on Friday would they not have known that they were going to be sold this Monday? In addition the Buzz would likely have also had some information on the dolls since the date is getting so close. Based on those factors it would lead me to believe that they are likely going to be released on the 4th opposed to the 28th due to the lack of information at this point.
 
Yep pretty much, I was just saying we got two release dates going but now it really seems to be Nov 4th. They are also saying Nov 4th on the French FB page as well. So most likely it is Nov 4th, Oct 28 should just be the second wave of merchandise (eg. toddler dolls, singing dolls, etc).

Do we know when the pin will be released? Or is that still up in the air as well?
 
If I were Disney, I would instruct my managers to keep surprise releases secret with real consequences for sharing information. It would be very easy for a savvy manager to simply say they don't know anything, when they in fact do. I was a retail manager for a major department store and we knew about every release. We had the entire Christmas season mapped out for us, but could lose our jobs if we shared information with our staff or customers. I don't think the managers are as much in the dark as some of them say they are. I think they know the exact release dates of all of their merchandise. I do agree the most likely date is the 4th, but I would love a surprise!

Yes they are. :sad: PsychoPixie posted this pin in the Frozen pin thread (in the pin discussion area) soon after it was initially announced, and many (myself included) bought tickets right away. As such, this pin didn't last long at all...

And presells on ebay start at $100. I been burned by these presells in the past so I would only buy a item if it's in hand.

I'm hoping to be a frozen pin completist! But just for pins with elsa, Anna, Hans, kristoff and Sven in! (Sorry Olaf) As this movie is so special to me and cause it's new it'll be a bit easier to be a completist haha! But it's probably still going to be impossible for me to collect them all. :(! Wish I lived near DSF

Exactly. I think that we can all agree; if you don't get them in the first hour, you'll most likely miss out and have to get them on eBay :(
 
Was this pin of El Capitan Frozen pin already released? I thought they are released when the movie comes out. :(
I am very much into pin collecting as well and do not want to resort to ebay to try and get them.

The El Capitan was selling VIP tickets with the pin (and then regular VIP and general). The ones with the pin sold out fairly quickly. So although they have not been technically released yet, they are reserved for those who bought those specific tickets.
 
In the disney pin discussion, someone has posted the flyer containing the frozen pins from DSF!!!! They are so beautiful and I just shed a little tear over their beauty and the fact i'll probably never own them..hahaha!

Hehe yes!!! I'm so stoked for frozen ^_^! I am hoping someone might be able to get me the Marquee, Anna+elsa and Kristoff+sven pins for cost as they are my complete dream pins! hehe! I've sold so much of my Disney collection to make room for and fund my frozen Doll/pins/ornaments/snowglobes collection :)! I also have also cut my food allowance at university down to £10 a week so I can afford these things :lol:
 
I wish we had something like DSF down here in Florida near WDW! I always love the DSF pins but can never keep up with them and always seem to miss out since I don't have a buddy over in California anymore. I am not as avid as a pin collector as I used to be, but I still love these new pins coming out and wish I could get my hands on them somehow without paying an arm and a leg.
 
I just saw the DSF poster! I hope I can afford the Thor set and the Frozen set. I love all of the Frozen set, although Im a smidge disappointed that the sisters pin looks very much like the disneystore.com pin. I dont want Frozen to be like Punzie where they reuse the same few poses over and over! I was lucky enough to purchase the El Capitan ticket pin and a friend is gonna pick it up for me.
 
I hope i'll be able to get these pins for little more then cost! I dont have much money right now and I can't afford more then say $80 for 3! And even thats pushing it ;c
 
I think I will just have to skip on the pins.....if I can't get them online at the DisneyStore then I probably won't get them at all. eBay is just way to expensive and I really don't know anybody in that area. I'll stick with my dollies, more pins for everyone else ;)
