The perfect distance between WDW and DL!
After missing the first delivery attempt on friday I finally have them! I would like to thank one of the most wonderful and generous people I know (for without you dear my collection would just not be complete!) I am truly fortunate to have a friend like you in my life. There are very few people in the world that would hop on a train at a moments notice just to help someone. I can never thank you enough for this! These dolls will always have a very special place in my heart because you helped get them for me. I love you sweetie! You know who you are ;)

So............ here they are!





boy were these packaged well, I tend to worry about dolls being shipped cause of possible damage to the box.

The box arrived in perfect condition yay!!!

They are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!

She has freckles on her shoulders.

After seeing the DS dolls in person over the weekend I will have to admit I like this version better, I know for the most part it's just extra bling but I love these so much more.

:naughty:Now to free them from their rubber bands, ties and boxy prison! I will take more pictures of them after they are free :)

Right photos! They look beautiful.

I have a question for you since you said you saw the LE 2500 as well. Is Elsa's skin different between the LE 100 doll and the LE 2500. The Harrods set shows that she definitely has the pearly skin finish, but I was wondering if the Le 2500 did as well?

Yes the LE 2500 also has a pearl tone to the skin but I don't think it is quite as much as this one has.... I could be wrong on this but without seeing them side by side it's hard to say.

THEY ARE FREE!!!!

so here are the pictures some have been waiting to see...

Eeeep I have never been so torn about de-boxing a doll in my life!
dresses are free from the bottom of the box

tape, ties and rubber bands are undone

Elsa is half way there


beautiful even from the back and side

Under her cape is a beautiful pearly blue gown with sparkles, it looks like it's been frosted :)

now for all of you that think that it's the shoes that make the dress........


now Tiana, Alice and Cinderella all had shoes that are much nicer than the plane typical colored shoe, but these are amazing for a doll.

Here she is out of the box and ready for the shelf.

Now it's Anna's turn

She is labeled on her back with The Disney Store London, her edition # etc...

The inside hem of her dress is done with lace detail

She has on knee-high stockings, pantaloons and has just plain black flats on her feet

I love everything about her hair, and they didn't have to glue the crap out of it to make it stay in place :)

Thank you for taking the time to look, I am so glad to see that there were as many of us on DPF that got these amazing dolls.

 
Whatever qualms you had about opening them, I'd say those pix at the end made it all worth it.

I'm so happy for everyone who gets their hands on this set. I just wish they didn't make Elsa so pearly. I don't understand why she's shiny, lol. She's very beautiful, though! I love the way her eyes look. I think both her and Anna's eyelashes might be thicker than the DS versions.

I need to take a closer look at the 2500 Anna. I never noticed if she had that braid in her hair or not.
 
Congrats Motherknowsbest! Good on you for deboxing them as well as I could never do that! But that is great to see Anna's hair! They included the braid which I never noticed in the stock photos! So much better than I expected!

:bigthumb: there are just so many details that you can miss when you leave them in the box.....once you try it......

I am glad that I decided to take them out in the end! but it was a tough decision with the very low LE, it's worth more in the box, etc, etc.... it's just that these dolls would be the very last to go along with my Arie/Eric DFC because of the special people who helped them find their way to me, and if I ever do sell them it would only be because of a major financial catastrophe.

Free the Dolls!!
 
Those heels are dope! I can't wait to get the regular edition dolls now! If you have the chance, could you take a picture showing the full cape? I would like to see all the details on it and its lenght. Thanks for sharing these! Love them :D
 
I gasped at the beauty!!! Elsa's dress is magnificent!!! WOW! Congratulations on obtaining the set motherknowsbest and thank you for posting such great photos!. I am still in awe. They are both gorgeous, but the detail on Elsa is just Wow! ♥ Congrats on everyone who got the set, they are a beauty!
 
I'm so glad that you broke down and deboxed! I was seriously wondering if anyone would.

Elsa's shoes are amazing. I'm going to have to get both Anna and Elsa individually, which I was waffling on before now (while religiously searching out every new pic and update every day up until now regardless). Thank you so much for sharing such beautiful pictures!
 
Amazing photographs! It is really nice to be able to see what these dolls look like out of the box. :) I am sure you are one of the very few out there who owns these AND is willing to debox them, but as with all dolls, they are actually best appreciated from all angles and not just the factory poses in the box. Congratulations!
