Aurora is my favourite Princess after Ariel and Maleficent is my favourite villain so it's hard but I chose Aurora

Wow, this is too hard!!! Aurora is one of my favorite princesses and Maleficent is my favorite villain. Ahhhh, I have to think this through.
 
I chose Aurora, but it would all depend on how the dolls are done. I'm only interested in Aurora if she's in blue and with Maleficent it will depend on how well done she is.
 
I think this is like comparing apples and oranges, one is a villain and another is princess, I for one think that Maleficent has a bigger following than Aurora as more people like her character whereas you have those that favour Aurora more people of the fact that she is merely a princess. The thing is at the end of the day everyone will like the character for different reasons and as a result we will have merchandise for both characters and I think Maleficent merchandise will pop up more around when her movie is released and then in turn Aurora will have more merchandise when the blu ray is released.
 
It depends on how they look for me, Since I'm definitely getting Hot Toys Maleficent, I'd go for Aurora(I want her in blue!) But if Disney brings it with Maleficent,
bye-bye Aurora!
 
Of course, I would pick both if I could, as both are very high on my favorites lists for Princesses and Villains, but when push comes to shove, and if I could only pick one, I would pick LE Aurora, because I know that her doll will pretty much look fantastic, as they have had a lot of time to try out different head sculpts and hairdos (and I swear, her hair had better be flowing in thick, wavy curls and with her signature bangs). The DS Maleficent dolls so far have been somewhat less successful in matching the actual character design (especially the Classic Maleficent doll... the Designer Maleficent doll was supposed to be stylized and not an exact character doll). I am of course hoping that LE Maleficent blows away any and all expectations by being fabulous!

I agree completely. I am so particular with how she is done. She's such a gorgeous villain, it frustrates me when she's drawn in a way that makes her look down-right ugly. I know I'm stocking up on Maleficent merch when the time comes!!! Hopefully it will all be beautifully villainous!!! Can't wait!!!
 
Um...all of you are wrong. The correct answer is Maleficent. She is the most interesting character from the movie and the whole reason for the plot. She didn't curse Aurora. No. She gave her the gift of drama and an interesting life.
I am SO EXCITED for the potential of this Maleficent doll...I'm just worried of how they will execute her gown-robe. For Ursula, they took an easy way out...but she wasn't my favorite so I still embraced the doll and adore it. For Maleficent...if they give her a poncho and cape like the classic doll...livid. I will be livid I say. LIVID!!! I believe in and do not have any doubts about their ability to make a correct sculpt and paint job, it's just their ability to create her gown-robe that worries me.

For me its going to depend all on execution, this isnt one of my absolute favorite movies so I could go either way. I do know that Maleficent kind of scares me a little... isnt she supposed to be the embodiment of pure evil? and after her line "and now you deal with me, and all the powers of hell!!" I was like.. whoa :anxious: but it will be interesting to see what Disney does with her new movie, I already feel like I dislike Aurora from the previews but it would be great for Maleficent to have more backstory/development
 
Maleficent is my favourite villain and aurora is my favourite princess! Aurora is the most beautiful disney character IMO. But I voted Maleficent she is just so damn cool!I already have the Mattel great villains Maleficent doll and doubt Disney could top that doll! But I'm excited to see it anyhow aswell as the hot toys doll.
