For those in the US who've received their blast off emails, what time did your orders go through? Mine went through at 12:06 and no update has been made to the status other than it still says active. Thanks for any input.

I ordered at 12:05 no shipping info yet, only says active...
 
I ordered both at 12:04 and no Blast Off email as well. Makes me a bit sad that it's taking so long, because my orders already going to take a bit of time to get here without the additional time just waiting for it to ship. But good, things come to those who wait, and patience is a virtue so...

:anxious: Though waiting until 12/02 is tough, but I'm super glad they are on there way.

I didn't think to check my email so late, so I checked my status on the disneystore site. I scared myself when I saw that my order was closed, but then I adjusted my eyes a bit further down to see that both had shipped. :lol:

I know they don't deliver on Sunday but do packages move at UPS on Sunday? Just out of curiosity. Still waiting for Elsa to leave warehouse

No they dont generally move the items on a Sunday. Usually they will try to deliver the item based on the estimated delivery date. If the item is early they will just hold it at the warehouse until the day it is supposed to be delivered they dont usually deliver them early which is something I just dislike about UPS if it is early they wont deliver it but if it is late then you just have to accept it.

If your Elsa's shipping status still says that the label is created and that it is just waiting on the items to arrive that just means that Disney has still not delivered the items to UPS for them to ship.
 
Thank you to the 130 people who signed my petition. Whilst it may not have been worded the way some people wanted it to be worded I thought it was a start. Don't moan about things DO them that's my moto. The ones that moan are not being productive! At least we got our refund! Good times! :-)


Thanks very erg much I bought the dolls anyway as I would pay £100 for these as I think they are worth that but paying £60 for these are the perfect price as it's not that expensese and you get a lovley doll with your money!!

but would like to say a big thank you for starting this petition !
 
I just got mine, not that happy with Anna's hair, I loved the pictures with her curls but they're all squashed and messy looking. Think I'll have to undo it.
 
I Went to the disney store of the champs elysées today and I was glad to be refund and given a 10 euros voucher . The dolls will be back at 70 euro , it was they said ^^

That shark that was mentioned, they now have 15 dolls listed on their ebay page. They are truly the skidmark on the underpants of doll collecting society.
OMG this had me laughing out loud.

I missed out on the Frozen dolls this time. Sold out when I got online, and then decided to skip going to the store. I dont really have the money to spend, and would rather finish other collections Im working on getting. Until Ive seen the movie at least too.
 
Hey everyone, I have a quick question: I got two Blast Off emails - one for just Anna and then one for both Anna and Elsa. Anna and Elsa have different tracking numbers, but both the Anna's have the same.

Is Disney sending me two Annas? I only bought one of each. To put it into context, when I ordered the Sofia the First Amulet and Crown earlier this year (right before the Amulet sold out, though it went back up a few weeks later) I got two identical shipments with all the same numbers. I called Disney Store and they just said to keep the extra for that shipment.

I think everything is automated so I want to make sure everything is alright, at least I know I am getting and Anna and Elsa because of the second email and the separate tracking numbers.

Has this happened to anyone before, is it just a glitch or did they accidentally send you two of the same doll?
 
Does anyone else's Anna have freckles on her ears and literally all over her face? Mine has two on her chin and on the tip of her nose which is a bit random :(

Yup. It seems like the freckle patterns are the same on all the Annas. At least all 4 that I looked at in the store had the nose tip freckle. I had wanted to pick one out without that nose freckle, but they all had it so I figured they must all be the same. The pictures I've seen online have it too. I think it's cute. However, I've noticed the dolls tend to have a lot more blatant freckles than the actual animated characters do. Rapunzel's and Elsa's freckles are barely visible in their movies yet their dolls sometimes look like they have moles all over their faces. Anna's freckles are also a lot more faint than her dolls would suggest too.

I don't know why Disney does this, but it happens all the time, especially when you purchase 2 dolls in the same order. Each doll is sent separately and has their own tracking number. They usually send 2 emails one with one of tracking numbers and then in the second one they repeat the previous tracking number and add the second. It's very odd, but you are fine and so are your dolls :)

I don't usually post all that much, but I did just want to say thank you to everyone who participates in this thread. Without this I would doubtlessly miss out on some of the doll releases. I would definately have missed out on a refund for my elsa and Anna dolls ( the over payment refund i mean ), and I love seeing the reviews and pictures whenever they are posted.

So thank you. Now I shall fade back into obscurity. ;)

Thanks! I don't usually don't get dolls direct from DS.com because there is a store so close, but they only had 2 dolls of each for this release and I didn't want to risk it.
