Well done everyone for sticking together and getting this sorted! Does anyone know when they will be back up for sale on the UK website? I don't want to have to spend the whole weekend checking every 5 mins! Maybe they won't even update it till Monday?

Maybe 8am tommorow, sunday, monday...maybe in five minutes, maybe right now! Reaaallly can't tell as this seems very unusual, I think you should be prepared

I should hope it wont be for a few days - I'm so annoyed right now. I cancelled my order due to the price increase, and my refund wont be here for 7-10 days - absolute joke! So now in the meantime if the re-sell them, I will not be able to purchase. I'm sorry but disney have totally killed the magic on this release. Been nothing but hassle!
 
Well I didn't expect to have the popular opinion, but without Disney would we even have these dolls to bicker about? So you are saying we owe Disney for the honor of being marketed to? Also I never said that I agreed with the surprise increase Being done as a "surprise" and only to our European friends, if they were going to do that it should have been done world wide and not at the last moment. Agreed. further if 30.00 is going to break someone they really shouldn't be buying these dolls in the first place. This is very judgemental. It's not anyone's business how someone spends thier money, and if they have saved for a certain amount yes even 30.00 more could be a breaking point. Or 30 more on top of the 100 might be a breaking point in general but it is still rude to say they shouldn't spend 100 if they can't spend 130. I was raised to never argue over money. Its rude and crass. In some cultures haggling is the norm. Society was built on haggling. Even pin trading is a form of haggling. Had I have gone to buy the dolls and found that I would have to pay 60.00 more Id be surprised yes but Id have paid and just moved on. If someone want the dolls bad enough they will pay. I would have paid too, but I would have questioned it given the particular circumstances. It is okay to question things that look wrong or things that look over priced. It is rude to argue yes, but this wasn't a typical situation.

My response was written mainly because you said you be willing to pay 400.00 to Disney for a doll you wanted rather than to scalpers.
 
Do they use Myhermes to ship internationally? Because they use it to ship within UK, and I am getting this 'Missing Pre-Advice'

I get this EVERY time. But the package always arrives, eventually. Myhermes are notoriously crappy, though I have always received my parcels
DS.co.uk don't ship internationally only within Europe. DS.com uses UPS. "Missing Pre-Advice" just means Hermes has the parcel but it hasn't been scanned into their system yet, it is then updated with further info once the order has been generated. :)

Ah yes, to me the mainland bit is international :lol: but that is an incorrect term. I always wondered exactly what 'missing pre-advice' meant! It scared me the first time haha th9ough I have since learned it does not mean missing, so its all ok

I am so happy that Disney was able to correct the situation, and in only 2 days! Im not sure what happened to cause the random price increase, but because of the way it was implemented I feel like it was possibly a mistake in one area that mushroomed out of control. I do feel like the refund and voucher is one of the best ways they could have addressed the issue, lets hope they have learned thier lesson and wont try this again in the future!
 
im so happy, thinking of this doll made me a little bitter and now im just super super excited to get her! and with the voucher, I may just be able to get more merch later on. woop!

i got a blast of email today, is it possible it will come tommorow?
 
I got my blast off email too this morning , I cross my fingers for a delivery tomorrow ! It would be a great birthday present :)
 
Hmmm... my LE Anna is scheduled to arrive next Wednesday (Frozen's opening day), but LE Elsa is still hanging out at the warehouse. I suspect I won't be seeing her until after the Thanksgiving holiday. :(
 
Thank you to the 130 people who signed my petition. Whilst it may not have been worded the way some people wanted it to be worded I thought it was a start. Don't moan about things DO them that's my moto. The ones that moan are not being productive! At least we got our refund! Good times! :-)
 
:anxious: I wonder is mine will arrive tomorrow or Monday? They appear to be being shipped together, will that be one humongous box?
 
So I'm super confused now. When I placed my order online on Wed for the dolls, I bought Elsa first and then bought Anna about two minutes later (my husband convinced me to get her). Then, when I checked the status of both dolls later that day (I want to say about 2:00pm) Elsa said "Active" and Anna said they couldn't get info from the warehouse and couldn't give me an update. I called customer service and the lady said my Anna was fine and that it was not going to get canceled. Was so relieved.

On Thursday morning, I get both blast off emails telling me that both girls are on their way. I got Elsa first and then Anna literally two hours later. I checked their tracking numbers Thursday night to see if there was a status and it said that Elsa has a label created and that Anna was going to arrive Tuesday! I was so confused because everything I received showed that Elsa was probably going to arrive first.

Checking on their status in my DS.com order history today, the Elsa shows as "Closed" with a tracking number and Anna still says that it cannot update the info. It has no tracking number and even says that it hasn't shipped yet.

I'm so confused.

I'm thinking that they got the Elsa and Anna switched somehow? Perhaps the tracking number for Anna that says she will arrive on Tuesday might be Elsa's?

Anyone else have this happening to them?

I'm not worried yet but it makes me a little uneasy.

This is exactly the situation of mine, maybe they are doing all the Anna's first?
 
For those in the US who've received their blast off emails, what time did your orders go through? Mine went through at 12:06 and no update has been made to the status other than it still says active. Thanks for any input.
 
***Update*** LE Elsa has now shipped (in the green) with a delivery date of 12/02/2013... Oh well, I guess only LE Anna gets to celebrate Frozen's opening day at my house! Btw, my LE Anna order was made after my LE Elsa order. I don't remember the exact times, but I think they were at 12:01 and 12:03 am PST or so. It does seem like the LE Anna dolls were shipped out before the LE Elsa dolls in general. Also, has anyone noticed that LE Elsa is said to weigh 0.1 lbs more than LE Anna (5.0 lbs vs. 4.9 lbs)? I guess it's her longer hair!

RapunzelSalat your taking it all into a context that its doesn't need to be in. I am speaking on behalf of my self and MY views and opinions. I would never seek to try and change someones mind on this or any subject. I Feel like your attacking me and im not really sure why. maybe not your intention but to dissect every sentence I wrote. I never said what they did was right, it should have been a universal price hike. Your interpretations are a bit off if I wanted to say we owe Disney for the honor of being marketed to, Id have said just that. Im judging no one. I'm saying if something is too expensive then priorities should be re-evaluated. I know better than to put a financial strain on myself over things that are not essential to live. Thank you for educating me on what other cultures do, or have done. That's fine for them but that is not my practice or anyone that I know. And to clarify I take issue with human greed. I wrote my response because I am disgusted at the sharks and scalpers. I defend disneys right to charge as they fit, in a fair and universal fashion because it is their property. And YES absolutely everyone who was charged higher has every right to be angry and demand a remedy. I never said what happened was ok im speaking to if they wanted to raise the price universally. So I hope I was able to clarify to you and I am done with this portion of the conversation and will not respond again to this issue.

I just checked and both my dolls are now in transit! Yay! I am getting Anna on Monday and Elsa on Tuesday. That is cutting it really close because I will still have to get it forwarded on to me. So if I can at least get it shipped on Tuesday I am hoping it will get to me by Friday, I am hoping it would get to Australia before Thursday in the US as I know they will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving but it looks like they are open again on Friday.

Anyone else's Elsa status update to "in transit"?

Really excited and cannot wait for these dolls to get here!! You guys are so lucky that the movie is coming out around the same time too. But I managed to get advanced tickets to see it on Dec 15 so will just have to wait until then.

Anna should be at my house on Monday but Elsa seems to still be hanging out in the warehouse. I had these mailed to my parent's house since I'm in college and I was hoping that I'd get to see both in person before I have to go back to school on Dec 1... oh well.

Okay. Not my intention at all to attack you. So I am sorry if it came off that way, but I really hope Disney doesn't raise prices by $30 or $300 just because the scalpers can sell them for more.

I checked my status and yes, Elsa is finally in the green! :wiggle:I'm also getting her on 12/02 which is weird since Anna is taking way less time to get here :dunno: Either way, I'm glad they are eventually making their way to me :)
 
Well, I just got a blast off email for Anna and Elsa.......I didn't think my online order was going to go through because there was a delay in my payment with the whole adding gift cards issue....anyway I went to the store and was able to get Anna and Elsa and not I have another set on its way:/ oh well, maybe I'll give them to my mom for Christmas, she loves dinsey
