Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
I was told by my manager that the presale is for the DVD only and that the dolls are first come first serve and are to be in hand for distribution that day... that there is not a presale for the dolls. We shall see, but for those who do not have the funds and are counting on the presale so as to have time to save up, you may want to be prepared. I have posted a few times and while many have questioned the accuracy of my posts, they always have been right, granted, there is always a first time for them to be wrong.) Better to be prepared rather than unprepared is my motto!!!
I know right!! And why does one store say one thing and another says something completely different. You would think they could all get on the same page with correct information.:anxious::anxious: I just want it to be the 10th so we know for sure

Haha I'm trying really hard not to get stressed about it. I know that there is a new set of DFDC dolls coming up in the next doll season and I'm set on getting at least Cinderella and Aurora (hope they make an Anna and Kristoff for that though, it would be super cute!). I'm trying to limit my doll purchases as I simply do not have any room to keep displaying them and I don't have that many to begin with. I got a giant bookshelf and I have 5 of the 2011 Designer set and the past 5 from the recent DFDC (technically 6 because I have an extra Ariel and Eric packed up and put away) and then the 17" LE Elsa. I've set up to have the 17" LE Cinderella but I haven't heard anything back from the seller so we'll see for that one. How on earth do people have complete collections?!

Id love Anna and Kristoff to be in the DFDC line this year. I would get them and Aurora/Phillip for sure.

Lol I have two bookshelves and two shelves just full of dolls. I have a whole room dedicated to disney products haha and that is still not enough. I need to get more shelves and clear the room up a bit only had to put the designer Cinderella away but with the new designers and LEs I will need to get another shelf to put them on haha. It's a lot of work and they do take up a lot of space.
Can I ask what you do with the slipcovers? I'd hate to throw mine out but they seriously just sit piled on top of the bookshelf and beside it. I could fit a lot more dolls on the shelves if the covers weren't in the way. I've thought of flattening them out and storing them flat just because I do especially like the concept art on the boxes of the 2011 ones and don't necessarily want to throw them out. I just need them out of the way a bit lol
i store mine away in the cupboards in the Disney room. We have four bedrooms for just the two of us so I just used the cupboard to store has slip cases away. The dolls really do take up a lot of space, hence why I have no idea how I am going to keep this collection up if Disney keeps releasing these annually.
I'm not arguing that I think they would be the first to be excluded in a designer line, it is clear they would be, although Mulan would be my first bet since she really isn't shown romantically at all except the last five minutes in the first film. At least Pocahontas has a very strong emotional tie to John Smith and sings "If I Never Knew You" depending on whether you watch the theatrical release or not. What I don't agree with is when people think they should be removed from the princess line altogether. Sure, they are not "princesses" or are very loosely those, but they've already been inducted and should remain. They aren't as popular, so they just get less merchandise and that is fine. Can you imagine though as a child being told your favorite princess can't be one anymore? I think it would be so problematic not only because of race but because of gender issues. The "rough and tough" princesses which are Mulan, Pocahontas, and Merida being removed? That is dividing the line with children and showing them that they aren't worthy of being a princess and were revoked their title because they were different. Can you imagine all the negative publicity from parents and social justice bloggers that would surromd that?
