Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
I was told by my manager that the presale is for the DVD only and that the dolls are first come first serve and are to be in hand for distribution that day... that there is not a presale for the dolls. We shall see, but for those who do not have the funds and are counting on the presale so as to have time to save up, you may want to be prepared. I have posted a few times and while many have questioned the accuracy of my posts, they always have been right, granted, there is always a first time for them to be wrong. :o) Better to be prepared rather than unprepared is my motto!!!

That is a good point, better to be prepared on the 10th.


I guess they could be releasing the dolls to commemorate the Presale release? Which would be a first and is weird since they usually release them in line with the bluray release.


Either way i do agree with Ameth in that it is better to be prepared besides if it was a preorder on the 10th you would still have to have the funds available to buy them.

OK I just talked to my local store that carries the dolls. The SM said that they think its a presale, of Elsa and Anna in the Coronation outfit and the Snow outfit. But they dont have anymore information. But not a release of them, just the presale to coincide with the DVD release in March.

BUT....who knows. Didnt seem like they had a lot of information. Well either way, I know where Ill be on the 10th.
 
Polaris is right they have always had presales for dolls for the release of the DVD, and as far as the UK exclusives being on the US site, that just blew my mind , I hope it's true but I doubt it

So does that mean theres going to be a box set of Anna + Elsa together in coronation outfits and Anna alone?

I truly doubt that they will release a boxed set of the girls together especially one that is similar to Harrods since the Harrods set is exclusive to Harrods and there would be legal ramifications if Disney were to sell a similar set. They could possibly do a set with the girls in their alternative outfits but based on the information I provided above it looks like they are selling them separately as they are both priced at $99.95 each which is the normal cost for an individual LE doll.

also I think tinkerboy's post was implying that Anna would be in her snow hear and Elsa in her coronation outfit. They already did Anna in her coronation outfit so they wouldn't do it again.

I really cannot wait!!! I am in love with my other 2 dolls ^_^! SO excited!! its crazy to think it was over a month ago that we were all freaking out about the other 2 hehe :)

Yes sorry for the confusion. They said Elsa in the coronation outfit and Anna in the snow outfit.
 
This is all confusing.

My only wish, whatever happens, is that we have a larger edition size. It was stressful enough with the last order with the site going down. More orders should buy us more time to get the links and all that, and things will hopefully run more smoothly.

Did the site go down? I didn't think there were issues with the site going down anymore as Disney tried to address that after dollmageddon in 2011.

I think to put simply. There are two new LE dolls coming out Anna in her snow hear and Elsa in her coronation outfit.

Release date ate is still uncertain but we are expecting more info to be released soon. At the moment we believe there is something major happening on the 10th of January as that is when the preorder of the bluray is expected. So be it the dolls are released for preorder then or the dolls are actually released then. Either way as mentioned by Ameth better to be prepared by the 10th so if the dolls are released then at least you will be ready to buy them.

I think the above post meant THIS site went down, I know it did for me, I flipped out! LOL.... I had to go to Facebook to get links. I wonder if that's why so many of us had issues with Elsa? Hmmm. I am excited for the 10th though! ;)
 
I remember that this site went down when Anna and Elsa were released. The DS website didn't go down (for me at least). If it wasn't for facebook, I don't think I'd have gotten the link that resulted in my Elsa. I think I was also done and paid out thanks to the link before she even showed up on the website after refreshing the page.
Also, now that it is officially January, I am like so crazy extra excited to see that first image that falls through the cracks. :D
 
The Disney Store site went down too during the release of Anna and Elsa LE dolls for a short period. I remember everyone panicking as Fix It Felix appeared. I was able to purchase them immediately but shortly after, here comes Fix It Felix. I kept tabs on the site so as to determine the "sell out time."
 
Hey guys. Happy New Year. So I thought I'd share some good news!! Keep an eye out tomorrow for an official announcement from Disney about the dolls. I was lucky enough to see the pictures of them today and WOW. You'll be very pleased.
 
I sent an email a few days ago and just got a reply back from Harrods this morning that they had some left also. I called and ordered mine and the sales person told me they had about four left after me. The harrods set cost me just a little more than what the regular ones are selling for on ebay. Hope this helps anyone looking for them.
 
Oh I can't wait to see a more high quality picture of Elsa! I like the deep royal colors they used. It's refreshing from the usual bright colors the princesses generally wear.

thanks for sharing the info guys, looks like we should be hearing more pretty soon as expected.

Whilst the the pics aren't great it still is something, from what I can see they are going to look amazing. I was hoping Anna would have her hood on but even if she doesn't i do hope that it is still incorporated in the dress. Can't wait to see more pictures! Again thank you so much for sharing guys!
 
Yay! I just love when pictures get leaked :D ! I will be getting Coronation Elsa! The cape looks long enough so it's a must for me!
 
I'm hoping they don't forget Anna's hood from her cloak. I was kind of hoping she'd be wearing it .. just like the 12" doll. BUT OH MY GOODNESS, ANNA LOOKS SO CUTE. I CAN'T WAIT TO OWN HER!
 
From what I could see, they both seem a bit lacking....but of course it's hard to see detailing in a tiny blurry picture, so I'll wait to decide :) but at this point I'm thinking I may just go with coronation Elsa.... I have 17" singing Anna (as well as LE), and I think it'll be too similar for me to want to buy. But....ya never know! I decided at the last minute to get LE Ursula ;P
 
I went today to the Dadeland Mall store in Miami, Florida
the manager told me that they will have 4 Anna's and 4 Elsa's for sale in January 10
and that will be first come first serve
and that she doesn't have any information about the lithographs with the dvd preorder
