Not sure if you guys saw this yet, but I saw a Frozen doll set on ebay and someone's asking $10.000!! haha I'm helping my best friend find one since she saw the movie and is in love and keeps trying to take mine haha!

The preorder starts from January 10 what that means is that you are only able to preorder it from Jan 10. The preorders will last in store until their allocation has sold out which for these dolls I don't think will be very long. Just make sure that your store has been given an allocation of LE doll stock as not all stores will be taking preorders for these dolls.

Wow .. and it has 9 watchers. Probably all out of curiosity. You could buy almost all 100 Harrod's set with that price. If that auction sells I'm done. Just done.

Lol you could buy about 12 of the Harrods set as they are almost a grand each. You could almost buy 100 Elsa's though.

Haha..my bad..that's what I get for multi-tasking. Forgot to add a zero. Anyway, I'm not even going to give the person the benefit of a doubt by watching that auction to see if any nut actually buys it. I see now people are even asking a bit over $100 for the 12" doll pack that sold out back in November. I keep reading that Disney will restock non-LE items in March when the movie gets released, so I'm not giving into the sharks.

Have you heard back from them? I doubt it will sell as you can get all these great LEs for less than that price including Alice and Snow. Maybe they were on something when they posted it lol either that or they are just very hopeful.

Haha all good, i agree with you though I am hoping that they release more Frozen merch next week along with the preorder release of the bluray and the dolls. I suspect animator Kristoff since animator tink is coming out next week according to Stitch kingdom.

Not yet. I was kind of snarky in the messagae so I probably wont. I also sent a message to somone who is selling the new dolls and that they guarantee you will get the dolls in thirty days. I asked how exactly is that going to happen. I need to go see if I got a response.**edit: not that I want to order the dolls from them, I just want to see what they say.

Lol I love it! Haha your are like the Disney dolls eBay vigilante! I can understand them guaranteeing the doll after they go on sale next week but to do it now is rather arrogant.

Well they just keep popping up. I reported them yesterday and today. Still there. Oh well. I guess if people want to potentially loose their money, so be it. People have already bought some sets for $600. I swear I think these sellers have people they know go on there and buy them to inflate the prices.
 
while ebay is a good place to get dolls sometimes I've had some negative experiences with these scalpers/ dishonest sellers. I was looking at a mother gothel listing that was .99 cents but shipping was $100. I wrote them to ask why on earth shipping was so expensive and they respond with a very rude aggressive comment about how they paid $100 for the doll and they were going to get their money back. they also attacked me personally in the message so I reported the listing and the message, but it doesn't look like eBay did anything other than making them change the shipping costs.

No worries, that being said though don't get complacent as you never know how the market will respond to these releases. I still recommend buyin the doll straight away as soon as it is released and not having second thoughts about buying it. The way I see it it is easier to buy the doll then not want it later rather than miss out on buying the doll and then wanting it later. There are always people out there that will want the dolls so it is easy to find it a new home later. It is a lot harder to get it later should you decide you want it.

Oh yeah, I'll probably be ready at my computer when they're being put online, just to be sure. My mind is calmer when I order something on the day it's released. I wasn't around for the Ice Queen Elsa and I'm dying to have her so I don't think I'll have second thoughts for this one. Still have to think about buying both or just Elsa though. I'm not that enthusiastic about Anna in general, but I have this authistic mind that wants everything as a set. But you have a point, I can maybe buy both and just think about reselling it for the same price if I don't like the Anna doll. Hmm. Still time to think about that!
 
I'll only have enough money to buy one doll, so I'm going for Elsa as I've been longing for a coronation version of her. My birthday is coming up in may, so maybe I'll see if I can convince someone to get me anna to put away until then.

Yes animators are not limited stock, they will just keep producing more if they sell out. It is only when they discontinue a line (like the first line of animators that they will stop producing them)

I wouldn't be surprised! I looked through the different threads of "other collectables" and I just fell in love with everyone's LE dolls. Bad business for me, this forum. :rolleyes:

LOL I know what you mean, I told myself to stop looking at the Pins for sale thread because I just keep buying pins that I dont need but love! LOL

Good luck with you decision, definitely let us know what you decide to do! (No mean to influence your decision but I def think both would be the way to go! LOL)
 
Aww I just saw the light up note book available for sale in the UK, it is awesome but I would have no use for it haha, would be so embarrassing to carry that around haha.

It's really nice, I might get it if it goes on sale, but I don't like that the pages are blank :lol: I usually get disney notebooks cause they have cute images on :P
