Lol excuse my naivety but what is it? Lol sorry can't seem to make out what it is.

lol that's okay. They're chocolate eggs with figurines inside them, surprise eggs. I found some Monsters University figurines in them when the movie was released. And Kinder is a very famous brand of those eggs, but I'm not sure whether these are from Kinder.

LOL oh yeah we have Kinder eggs here in Aussie land, Kinder Surprise, for some reason the ads that we get here are based on the Euro ads just dubbed over in english we havent had ads for them in years but they are still around. I remember I used to love them when I was a kid, mainly coz the chocolate tasted so good.

Also, unfortunately, those eggs are illegal in America cause they have non edible stuff inside :c

Really? They are illegal due to the non edible stuff inside? I wonder if that is because they fear people may try eating the little plastic case inside holding the toy?

I completely understand what you mean and can see where the predicament lies. I dont mean to promote reselling to make a profit but the way I see it if you do decide that you do not like the doll and want to sell it in the future I am pretty confident you will be able to resell her to cover the postage costs that you originally had to pay to purchase her.

Do you mind if I ask, will you be getting the coronation Elsa as well? Just wondering if getting both dolls under the same order will help save on the shipping?

No, unfortunately. The way the Disney Store does shipping is based on the price of the items, not the weight/dimensions of the package. Which is why it only cost me about $30 to have a 2011 designer Cinderella, 2 mugs, and a set of note cards sent to Canada but it would have cost $50 for just one set of the DFDC dolls because they're more than twice the price. I ordered Snow White and Rapunzel together in one package recently, and even though they were sent to the States, it showed me that it would have been $100 to send it to Canada. I like the coronation Elsa, she's pretty, but I much prefer the icy Elsa and I don't have any Anna dolls yet. I don't mind resellers so much, a lot are collectors trying to fund their own collections, and as long as they're not jacking the price up right after purchase then that's fine. I myself bought a second DFDC Ariel just because I was worried my first order might fall through and when both ended up shipped and fine, I put away the second to sell later, probably when the next DFDC set comes out and people who missed out the first set look to buy them on the secondary market. Anyways, that's a completely different topic lol. I have money I saved up from Christmas and whatnot, but I don't really feel like spending $300 on two dolls and then possibly more on customs and import fees. Right now it's just whether or not I want to buy the upcoming LE Anna.

Believe it or not, I've heard that is true. Apparently the government doesn't think people will be able to differentiate between candy and plastic :/ We have them in Canada, I too loved them for the chocolate haha, I didn't realize at the time that it was milk chocolate with white chocolate inside, and I absolutely love white chocolate. I always liked when people got those giant ones with the really big toys in the middle because they never wanted the chocolate and those were like the same amount as ten regular sized Kinders lol. Out of curiosity, what's inside those Frozen ones?

I've seen those Kinder Bueno chocolate bars, is that what you mean? Those are definitely different because they have hazelnut cream in the middle- still delicious, but different!

Oh yes that's the one, LOL sorry I never actually bought one and saw it was by Kinder so I thought it was just the chocolate version. I love how fast this thread has gone to the topic of chocolate LOL

It's because chocolate is secretly worth more than money. I tell ya, if they demanded chocolate instead of money for those LE dolls, they'd sell a lot slower. People are reluctant to give up their chocolate.

To stay on topic- what's actually inside those eggs? I may have to hunt for the Elsa and Olaf ones haha

I had a kinder egg today whilst out shopping haha. I haven't seen the frozen eggs about but I'll have a look.

I saw on the kinder website a while ago that they were going to do a disney line! princesses in pink eggs and marvel stuff in blue eggs.

Oh yes, those eggs are very illegal. If you try and smuggle them in across the border, you can get serious jail time. I remember them before they were banned. I remember I found one at the store one day and took it to the register to buy it with my grandmother. I remember the cashier saying "Where did you find this!" I said on a shelf over there. She wouldn't sell it to me.And I couldn't understand why being I was a kid. This was right after they were recalled. I miss them.

The fact that we cant get those eggs in the US say a whole lot about Americans. Lets just leave it there. Haha.

Today I saw a cute set of Frozen Valentines Cards that came with pencils. The little sets that kids get to give out at school. It was cute, but not something I need but thought Id throw it out on here in case anyone is interested and wants to look out for them.

How cute, any pics?!

I have a question, maybe y'all can help? I ordered the DLP Ann & Elsa Figurine from a seller on eBay last night, made payment and everything, and then it says the payment is "unclaimed." I'm pretty sure that just means they need to go into their PayPal and claim it right? Second, there was another figure available in the same listing (qty 2), and now that listing is ended because the "item is lost or broken".

So there is no more listing for the figure, and the seller hasn't claimed my payment for the first one. I contacted them to claim it, but does it sound like I won't be getting my figure and I'll have to wait a whole long time before the charge drops off because it is unclaimed?

I'm not sure what to do, I contacted them, but even the other seller who listed the figure doesn't have it listed anymore

Hmm I'm not really sure. I didn't know you have to accept a payment. Mine just automatically goes in my paypal. Give it a day or two and contact Ebay.

I didnt think about it until I left. She was just stocking them on the shelves too and kind of in the way. There were other sets with pencils but I spotted Frozen right away.

Wegmans. I plan on going back tomorrow and getting them for the Valentine card swap too.

I was seriously lol and snorting at your last comment. But its so true right?!! Haha

Wow that's not very nice, I guess they would rather be safe than sorry though, I still think that is a little silly though.

I know that they do just sell the chocolate (without the toy) as chocolate bars as well.

I think they banned it because it was a safety hazard for children more so than adults, I suppose if a toddler were to eat it without his mother watching then he could choke or what not , not saying kids are stupid, but sometimes they do stupid things , so I get it

When did they ban them, because I thought I had them in the past and bought them in a store here in the states years ago. But now I'm not sure since they seem to be banned. Although I thought I heard the ban was lifted. Does anyone know Anyang about that? I looked it up and sounds like a US company might have legal ability to make some thing like a kinder egg which to me isn't really lifting the ban.

Here is what PayPal says:

An unclaimed payment is a payment that your recipient hasn’t accepted yet. There are a few reasons why your payment might be unclaimed.

A payment might be unclaimed because:
•The recipient hasn’t signed up for a PayPal account yet.
•You sent money to an email address that the recipient hasn’t added to their PayPal account. As soon as they add the address to their account, the money will show up in their balance.
•The recipient is still deciding whether they want to accept your payment. (This can happen if you don’t have a Confirmed address.)

To find out why your payment is unclaimed, contact the person you sent money to. After 30 days, an unclaimed payment is automatically canceled and the money is returned to you.
