Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Sorry about that, will update the thread shortly and will let you know on here.

to answer you question when you order you will get an order number. You can then check the status of your order on the Disney store website using the order number or in your order history if you ordered whilst logged in to your account.

there are three different status that can appear on your order
Active - order is still active in the system meaning your order has gone through and everything is ok, it will stay at this status up to the point that the item is shipped and the tracking number is provided to you.
Closed - when your order is completed and the blast off email is sent and you have a tracking number for your order this is the status your order will be in. Please note this doesn't guarantee your order has shipped yet as Disney has a tendency to print the labels and then say it's shipped so the labels could still be sitting in the warehouse hence why sometimes when you track your shipping it just says the label has just been created.
Cancelled - this is when your order is cancelled either due to you calling to cancel or payment not going through resulting in the cancellation or a result of an over sale where more orders were made than the number of stock available. This is very common with LE items.

Hope this helps! :)

Don't forget about Closed with a zero balance. This is the same as cancelled where Disney has cancelled the order because they oversold. that happened to me with the Disney Fairytale Couples Pin Set :P Closed with a zero balance :(

Hey guys I created a group, DPF Disney Limited Edition Collectors

It is by invite online and only people within the group can read posts. I can add you by email if you like, just pm me your email and ill add you. From there you can then invite others who you believe are true collectors as well and would need the info

I didnt specify it as dolls because I wanted to leave the thread open to any LE Disney items and not just the dolls but I guess it will just predominantly be about dolls though

Thanks Polaris for starting that up! So should we look on here first or the FB thread first for the fairy links? I know this site crashed last time though.

Added everyone so far that requested by PM, can you maybe let me know what your facebook name is so that I know if the request went through?

Guys you can also send the request directly on facebook if you like.

Hello! I am new here.:wavey:

I am thinking ordering the new Anna and Elsa dolls (later when they became available in Europe), but I am a bit scared of doing so since it was rather difficult when I ordered the previous Anna and Elsa ones (my first Disney Store dolls). There was no problem ordering them, but there was first the issue of getting refunds when the UK store asked more money people were expecting, (it was easy in the end, but anyway). Then my tracking number did not work and the delivery company could not find them. At the same time my email mysteriously stopped sending emails abroad (I am from Finland), and the Disney Store did not answer my phone calls (or something, the number was from they website so it should have been correct). Eventually I thought of using my gmail that I normally do not use, I managed to contact them and I found out that they had tried to deliver and left a minuscule note about it (first time ordering anything period, so that was one of the reasons I did not handle things well). When I found the note it said that it was the last day they were keeping my order, so my order was going to be send back. I only got my dolls since I went to get them early in the morning and because of Christmas mail they had been too busy to send things back. Oh and I found the form the post office, but the delivery company mentioned in the email said that they had nothing to do with them and had their own system, so I do not know what company eventually delivered my dolls.

So that was too much drama for me, if I had to decide now weather I would get them I would decide against it, but since there is not preorder in Europe I have time to think.
Have you had you dolls delivered more easily? Can I expect things going smoother if I decide to order the new Anna and Elsa dolls?

Also I had some trouble posting for this website as well, I never got email so I could activate my account, so I had to make a new one. I had some questions about ordering the dolls and so forth, but I luckily got my answers from Facebook limited edition page and reading things here. I feel like I already know you guys after reading so much what you have posted! But it feel good that I can finally post myself.

Welcome Camile.

Sounds like you had fun last time round! I suppose the thing to think of this time is that you will be more prepared knowing what happened last time. It seems like our friends in the US had major problems with deliveries too so you are not alone! I'd like to think that you won't get any problems due to Europe only having 500 of each doll whereas last time is was 1000 so much less likely to mess up your order. You know the dolls will only be £60 this time as DS have confirmed so you just have to ask yourself if you would regret not getting them and then decide.

Thanks Polaris! I'm on my mobile device and can't figure out how to send a PM at the moment, but I just requested to join! I will be sure to send a PM later.

I hope that the Ebayers and other sharks will be put off by the pre-order and the larger edition. They cannot tell until March whether collectors were satisfied so their investment may not be able to flip for very much. I have noticed on other pre-orders that the resale stays close to the original price. I also agree with earlier posts that some high selling dolls on Ebay are fake sales which the seller/buyer later cancel so it costs them nothing to do this because they want to stir up the auctions.

Will the links still be put in this thread? I recently deleted my facebook and never want anything to do with it again. :/

Ok so I have added everyone that requested so far either through facebook or through a PM on here, can you please let me know if you still have any issues? Or were not added?

Also the page doesnt have much going on at the moment but ill add more to it later today as I had to rush off to work after creating the page, was slightly late but that's ok LOL

I would say so, someone usually does post it on the thread, if you like you could always create a disney collecting facebook page if that makes it easy for you. That is what I did, by the way guys you are more than welcome to add me as a friend on my facebook page as I think I only have one or two friends at the moment haha. My facebook name is Sorcerer Mickey Mike :)

You know the dolls will only be £60 this time as DS have confirmed

Good to know it has been confirmed, I heard that was going to be £60, but was not sure if that was official information or not. Anything more than that would be too much.

It probably will be harder to get the dolls this time due to half smaller edition size and the fact that now people have seen the film, but I recall that the last set of dolls lasted for days, so I would assume that these will last a couple of hours at least, and the delivery should be smoother.

I wanted to know what other people had experienced in their orders, but I also wanted to just went a bit, it got so frustrating at one point, and I am not sure if I want to go though that again. But it is likely the next time would be easier.

That's a good idea! I'll see how this release goes and take it from there. :)

I'm having such a debate with myself over whether I should get the Elsa doll. I'm bummed that I missed out on the one in November, but I adore her coronation gown for this release. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to buy her and sell her later if I have to. I may end up having to sell her next year to help pay for my trip to Europe since $100 is an awful lot of money for a college student to spend on a doll while also saving up for a trip to Europe! We'll see if I can manage to swing both.

I'm not too familiar with how FB groups work since I rarely use my FB, but I sent a request. I'm KraftyKitsune on there. :) And thanks for making the page; when DPF.com crashed with the last release, I almost missed the last two Frozen dolls and had to resort to FB.

To be honest, I don't think that the pre-order or the LE size will put off resellers, especially after Frozen has proven to be a successful and popular film. :( If Frozen had been met with lukewarm attention, and if the first LE dolls had not proven to be so popular, I think that resellers may have been more hesitant. But with Snow Queen LE Elsa blowing up on eBay, I think that the sharks will swarm, even though I think that it may end up biting them in the tush when they flood the market with Coronation LE Elsa dolls, in the same way that they destroyed their chances with the LE dolls for The Little Mermaid.

Btw, thank you Polaris for making the Fb group. I had been wanting to make a closed group for like forever, but never got around to it. Thank you so much for taking the initiative with it! :)

This is the one time I hope you are wrong, Shivatopia, because you are usually right. I just hope they learned their lesson on Ariel.

While I'm sure the new Elsa doll will sell out promptly, I don't think she'll reach snow queen Elsa's resale value. There's many more dolls in circulation compared to the original one. So I think she's not great value if one was looking to flip her.

however, given the ebay prices for her, I think scalpers will definitely target her and then flood the market.

Snow Anna...I have no predictions on. It's her iconic look, but her merchandise isn't selling as fast as Elsa.

LOL I know: I hope that they learned their lesson, too... But somehow I just don't have much faith that they will leave well enough alone for us collectors. :(

No worries, I cannot take full credit though, I just created the group someone else had mentioned creating the group (maybe it was ladyroselie??) and I just followed through with it. Like I said will update it with more info when I get home tonight right now there's not much happening on there haha.

I actually think both dolls will be flooded on the secondary market. While not as lucrative as Snow Queen Elsa, Coronation Anna dolls on the secondary market have made more of a profit than say, LE Cinderella or LE Merida did this soon after their release. I think both dolls will sell within a couple days (I'd guess one day of release, one the day after... not sure on which will be first because while Elsa is overall more popular, Anna is in her more iconic look). I don't think either doll will reach over $200 on the secondary market by or near the time of release, which means for a two month investment, I don't think they will be a lucrative venture for scalpers (especially once you factor in ebay fees, taxes, and shipping cost).

Wasn't me, but a good idea none the less, thank you for making it!
