Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Me tooA group would be nice, I'd like to be a part of that!
Thanks for creating. i requested to join via FB.Hey guys I created a group, DPF Disney Limited Edition Collectors
It is by invite online and only people within the group can read posts. I can add you by email if you like, just pm me your email and ill add you. From there you can then invite others who you believe are true collectors as well and would need the info
I didnt specify it as dolls because I wanted to leave the thread open to any LE Disney items and not just the dolls but I guess it will just predominantly be about dolls though
Thanks for creating the group! .... Sorry we made you late for work, Polaris
Haha it's all good, I work a lot of OT anyway so work didnt mind.
Tinkerboy I just accepted your request then along with another two people. So hopefully that is everyone so far.
For those that provided their email addresses, what I do is I sent a request to join the group from Facebook to your email, as a result I believe you need to check your emails and you will see the request there. I am assuming that the email will just contain a link that you can click and just follow the steps through to add yourself to the group.
Also here's the link to the page. DPF Disney Limited Edition Collectors
If you click on it you can request to be added to the group through facebook, just let me know on here if you sent a request and who you are so that I can accept it. You can just PM me if you like so that you dont have to disclose your information on a public forum.
Thanks for doing all this. You rock!
Would it be helpful to have a file with everyone's name/username?
Yeah I did see your comment on Facebook about that and thought that would be great idea, only problem is that at the moment there are about 40+ members now and I am not sure how I can collate all that information easily? Also I just accepted everyone that requested but I was thinking going forward any suggestions on what the best way to filter out people who can or cannot join the group? As much as I would like to be open to new members I would really just want true collectors to be a part of the group but the difficult thing is how can we determine this?
Any suggestions would be great!
Perhaps we can have a referral system, where an established member can vouch for a new person attempting to join? I know that may seem a bit exclusive and hard for brand new people to be added, but that is sort of the point of a closed group. We can also sort of verify if someone is already established on DPF by their activity stats here for those people seeking to join. Also, it's not like things like the item links won't be on at least 5 other facebook groups' pages at the same time anyway...
Same here. I like her reminiscent red riding hood outfit. I saw the movie again today and she is just to cute. I say go ahead and get her and if you dont want her anymore, just trade or sell her.I feel like I'm in trouble. I just wanted to collect villain dolls bis just rocause they are my favorites. I love them. They are always dressed more interestingly, in colors that I like, and are much more interesting to me. Then...Elsa came along. I truly adore and love this character. So stunningly beautiful and so relatable and her song is one of my forever favorites now. To top it all off, she's not even a princess, she's a Queen. I bought the Snow Queen Elsa for superficial reasons since I didn't know her character. I saw the movie and fell in love. I plan on buying the Coronation Queen Elsa doll for both reasons.
Now, my pickle, should I buy the Snow Anna? I very much prefer her in that look: it's adorable, it's her iconic image in my eyes (regardless of how she is marketed), and I just like it better. BUT! I still only really care for Elsa. Should I buy the Anna doll as a companion piece to my Snow Queen Elsa or should I just leave it as my two Elsa's?
Talk about first world problems, huh?

The 10k listing for Anna and Elsa just "sold". Lol yeah right

Seriously why do they even bother? LOL Maybe they were trying to prove a point or something? But I dont think anyone is silly enough to believe it as it is obviously fake. Did you see whether or not the buyer has a feedback at all?
Why on earth would someone do that? Obviously, it is bogus, but if the person bought their own auction, wouldn't they have to pay eBay their fees? I looked on eBay and it looks like around 10% for final value fees.
