Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Got my Harrod's set today. I didn't have a snow queen Elsa as I just forgot and slept through the sale. Wow these are beautiful dolls. They are worth selling off some of my integrity and Barbie Collector dolls for. Very happy with the quality.

I actually did a reversal with the doll sets. For first set, I went in wanting Anna, but I decided to also get Elsa. Was blown away by Elsa's beauty when she arrived. This time around, I knew I wanted Coronation Elsa because I loved the outfit and cape from watching the movie. Figured I didn't need Snow Outfit Anna. Saw the pics and just melted. So now I plan on buying both. *sigh*

Any word or hunches if they'll make a Kristoff 17". If they were going to make him as a surprise release for the DVD/bluy ray release I would definitely want Anna on Friday. BUT I'm back and fourth back and fourth..and so on and so on LOL

It is awful! But fun too. I think there is a bit of too much excitement involved. I wake up a lot during the night and fall asleep afterward, but because this is so nerve wracking I can't get back to sleep.

I always mean to sleep again afterward but adrenaline keeps me up afterward. And then I'm a wreak for the rest of the week but at least this time it's a Friday so we have the weekend to recover.

I just sent in my request for the Facebook group! The cover is beautiful, by the way. Very artistic!

And I wish I posted more in here, but I guess it's just me being shy. You guys are just so fun to watch :)

Wow, I didn't realize that group would get 60 members in less than a day. I guess it goes to show how many people watch this thread and don't post, it seems like there is only 20 or so members who post regularly. Come out to swim, my friends! The water is fine!

I'm glad it is by referral. I think we sometimes get a lot of people who post once or twice to get vital information and then disappear forever, so it is good there will be a system to make sure people are truly into it. Are you going to weed out people who don't contact you about their username on the Forum? I think if it is truly "exclusive" people should be open to sharing who they are on there.
i agree. Im pretty new here but I do tend to see the same usernames posting across the forum and here so I was a little shocked about how many people signed up for the FB group so fast.

Its cool though, being able to put a face to the username etc. And Im loving the collections people are posting pictures of. Keep it up guys.

I feel your pain...I'm in Florida...
Truth! Im in New England. I have to explain to the DH why I set an alarm for 2:30 AM. Then he just rolls his eyes and goes to sleep.

I talked to my local DS today, and they are not getting the dolls. I dont think they ever do. She said one of the others stores (an hour a way) will have them, but they are only getting 8!!! I think with driving and the chance of getting one of 8 is risky, so Im just going to wake up and try for them online.

Also sorry to post this on here but dont know where else or how else to do it but can the following members tell me if this is you so that I can accept your request please? Stephen King, Gisella Lavinia Clio, Edsel Pabilona, Valerie Chaves and Courtney Doane.

I have requested to join the facebook group too please, I've sent in my request! My name is the same as my dpf user name.

I'm liking these dolls more than the other 2 previously released!! Let's hope there's no price fiascos this time!! I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the number allocated to Europe to I'm guessing it's going to be tough to get these, please if the link fairies are there again, that would be great!! :) hope everyone on here gets one or both! I going to try for anna! :)

I finally joined these forums after lurking as a guest for some time! I started collecting the dolls when the Designer and Animators Collections came out. Then I took a break after buying the Merida and Merida and Eleanor sets -- those are being kept for my daughter, as Brave is her favorite movie! We've taken her to see Frozen twice now, and she's come to love that movie and its characters as well. I wasn't able to get online in time for the first two Elsa and Anna dolls, so fingers crossed I'll have better luck on Friday. Thank you for the warm welcome to newbies such as myself. :)

Hi all! Long time lurker here. Also a long time collector of all things Disney. I just love to see everyone's beautiful collections.

Hi all! I'm new to the forums too. I'm guilty of not posting. I tend to read the threads in the spare few minutes between work hours, so I never have time to post. You guys all seem so nice though, so I'll have to start posting! :D I started collecting with the LE Ariel doll. I never even knew Disney put out these LE dolls. If I did, I would have started collecting years ago, as they're all so beautiful. I missed out on the last Frozen doll release. I really didn't think they'd sell out quickly seeing as the movie wasn't even in theaters. Boy was I wrong!! I will not miss out on the release Friday! I need to get my hands on an Elsa doll! She's gorgeous!

Polaris, I'll send you a PM so I can join the Facebook forum!

Since everyone is introducing themselves, hello. Long time lurker here. My first 17 inch doll was Cinderella although I first found out about these dolls when I saw the Alice in Wonderland Doll. I didn't get it because I thought 100 dollars was too much haha. What a big mistake I made lol. Anyways, looking forward to the next 2 dolls : )

Hello!! I am also new to the pin forum!! I have been collecting disney LE dolls since 2011. Still have a long way to go on my collection! I wish I had found this awesome forum earlier =) Looking forward to putting an album together to share and discussing Disney faves with everyone!! Thank you for having me!! SO excited!!!

I did the exact same thing with Snow White and Designer Ariel! I then asked my mom for Alice when I didn't have my own bank account yet, and she was under the impression she'd last until Christmas, ha! We all make mistakes but these are expensive ones, oh well.

I also reported the listing AFTER it sold for 10k so maybe ebay will realize what they did.

Just saying hello to you as I am in North Carolina as well!! I also just recently joined the pin forum =)

I think the eBay thing could probably be a brand new user with 0 feedback. I couldn't imagine someone paying that much for the set or even someone selling it for that much. Can you imagine the taxes and seller fees?!? Anyways, nice to meet everyone here!!

I just want to cry sometimes over the 3 am thing. I get up around 2:45 am to prepare. I buy. I try to go to sleep, but I am just messed up the rest of the day. I sometimes wish Disney could be fair to the East Coast people. Push it back to midnight est. We East Coast collectors are dying, Disney. Sleep deprivation. *sob*

I feel your pain. Home is California for me, but I go to school in Tennessee. I'm usually a night owl, but it's so hard to stay up late to get the dolls when I have to get up early for class. Coffee is the only I'm able to survive the rest of the day.

This time around, I will be flying into Atlanta airport Thursday night, so it's going to be a loooong night for me. Hopefully I'll get some sleep on the plane, and I'm going to take a nap for a few hours before waking up at 2:30 to prepare. I feel crazy for wanting to stay up late after an early morning flight, but I really want these dolls!
