I agree Guppy! If Elsa is the one you love more, go with that. I LOVE Elsa too! She is amazing! I am excited for both dolls, but I think Elsa's dress, especially her cape are amazing!! Can't wait to get them!! ♥ Good luck to you!

Well they didn't give us a specific reason why we couldn't tell about pre-order of the movie & the dolls but they told us to keep it a hush hush which I do not get. But the pre-sale for both do start tomorrow & I've been telling to my guests about it when they're about to pre-order the movie, Jungle book as well too. If they wanted to wait when the jungle book movie was release, they could use their coupon voucher to pre-order the movie Frozen as well. But hmmmm ... you guys totally didn't hear it from me ;]
 
The weirdness is universal. I called three stores while driving home from work (hands-free, don't worry!) and at each the CM acknowledged his/her store was participating in the pre-order (with varying degrees of enthusiasm, I must say--maybe some stores have been overwhelmed with INQUIRIES, which means they anticipate a mob at the gates when the store opens? That would make me grumpy, too) but none of them could quote a number. The rudest one said, "Eight," but the way she was answering questions told me she was annoyed and really just wanted to be rid of me, and the nicest one said, "We won't know until tomorrow." So I don't know, maybe the box that has the slips/cards/whatever you get along with your receipt is in the stockrooms/managers' office with a "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 1/10/2013 ON PENALTY OF DEATH" tag on them, or maybe they're being delivered tomorrow morning. In which case, heaven help the universe if the delivery truck is late. :-P Way back when I was working for TDS, we did get shipment on Fridays like clockwork. But I do think it's more likely the goods are backstage but for some reason off-limits until the morning.

Thank you! Elsa is super special, these movie means a lot to me for different reasons, their is something precious about sisterly love and while I love them both, I think many people can identify with Elsa regardless if they have a sister or not. Cannot wait for the movie to come out!

Sorry that I haven't been on for awhile. Hope everyone's able to get the dolls they want! The sharks are already trying to milk the dolls especially those who missed out on the first set(asking for roughly LE Snow's price)
 
I always hate the wait. It is oddly quiet. :P I'm not even ordering online, but I always like to stay up and watch it all unfold. Although, I will be devastated if there aren't enough at the Disney Store by the time I get there. I've been first for the past two times, but I definitely hope I shouldn't be camped in the parking lot right now. I would get one online to ensure I am successful (gosh knows I'm always up at 3:00 A.M. anyways) but the last time I did that for Ursula and Eric it really bit me in the behind and I'm still trying to get rid of Eric!

I'm praying that there won't be a frenzy tonight or tomorrow. :hs:
 
Well I am up and waiting, I thought about going to bed for a bit and setting my alarm, but I can never sleep anyways. I was up until 4 yesterday morning so I'll just wait it out. At least I got comfy, put on the fire and got into my pjs, got a hot chocolate in my Anna mug (for good luck hehe). I have an artwork of Elsa I'm working on and a baby blanket too, so I'll be occupied until 3am :) I'll be on here if anybody else wants to chat and hang out lol
 
I have just finished teaching myself to knit Norwegian mittens and I am planning on knitting a blue pair like Anna's with the light blue design in them :)

I would love a singing Hans doll! And a Kristoff would be cute too! He could sing both his and 'Sven's' parts for Reindeers are better than people! :D

I'm actually really impressed with the quality of the singing dolls. My Anna just came this week, and I'm super psyched and can't wait to get her and Elsa displayed properly. My nieces love hearing them sing too- tho now they keep saying "So you're gonna get a singing olaf next, right?" :lol:

Guppy, I LOVE Ariel as well, and I REALLY LOVE Frozen now, ALMOST as much as Ariel. Which is a pretty big thing for me to say as well. I would say buy the Elsa, and then if you feel like she needs Anna there, just buy the singing Anna doll :)
 
that blanket is amazing!! you could totally make it an Elsa snowflake with blue and white hues!! Congrats to your sister, does she know if it s a boy or girl?. your picture is awesome too, is it going to be full color? how long does it take you to do something like that?

Thank you! She's having a girl :) but I started the blanket when she told us she was pregnant so I decided to stick with gender neutral colours at the time. She's the first baby in the family (well, out of my immediate family) so we're all pretty excited.

The picture will be full colour, the time really depends. I've sketched them out on the computer, lined them and then coloured them in as little as 3 hours before, but this one is taking longer because I hate doing the outlines and keep dragging the process out haha! I have a DA account (xAppleChaix) but I haven't submitted much to it, it's mostly just stuff I made for people. I had a really old laptop and it wasn't running photoshop so well so I finally bought a new one in September. This is the first picture I've sketched out on my laptop and it's also my first picture of 2014 :)

That is so beautiful!! Congratulations to your sister and your family's soon-to-be newest addition! I can't wait to see the blanket when it's all finished (that is if you wouldn't mind sharing pics of it of course =>) I am an aunt, and I just love my nieces and I remember how ecstatic we all were when my sister's first one was announced (also the first baby in our immediate family ^.^) - they just become an immediate precious part of our lives, and it's so sweet of you to be already making something so wonderful for them!! <3

Is there just something about Ariel and Elsa where if you love the one, you can't help but love the other? Because I feel the same way you guys do and I too never thought I would say that. I've noticed this to be true based on comments people have made on other sites as well.
