2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
Well I have to hope they have some leftover or be up to order online as I have two doctors appointments and an ultrasound on my liver. I hope I get one, but if not, oh well.

I think I am going to go for Tink now. I may struggle to get Anna and Elsa when they come out, but I think I can do it.

If you ask me... You should always pick Anna and Elsa over Tink. Mainly because I predict she'll be like Eric and Ursula where you can easily buy her on eBay since prices won't be that much higher than retail. But if you get Tink now and then you're not able to get Anna or Elsa. You won't be able to get them at a decent price from ebay. Just a little something to keep in mind :)

As mentioned by Hausofde-vil the reason why the Disney stores are being so paranoid is because they were all reprimanded as a result of what that one employee did when he leaked the image of the designer Tinker Bell doll. As a result all CMs are being told not to say anything. To be honest I think it is fair what happened as it is Disney's way of punishing the public in general for being so impatient.

I agree amm3 that it doesnt hurt for them to at least disclose how the dolls are going to be released as some people have to take the time off work etc but I dont think they necessarily need to disclose how many dolls they will be receiving. To be honest I would just go to your local store as early as you can and if you are able to buy the doll then that is great. If not then at least you will have the chance to do so online.

I just think this release is getting out of hand and am worried about the repercussions it will cause for future releases as Disney may start coming down really hard on the CMs which is not really fair for them because really they are getting punished for our impatience. I think we all just need to relax a bit, I honestly dont think Tink will sell out super fast, yes she will sell out probably within several hours but really even if she was to appear on the secondary market I dont think she will be that much more expense than retail anyway. I think the more people panic the more this will just push the price of the doll up as resellers will take advantage of the panic. Also the nosier we get the more frustrated and annoyed the Disney store will get and as a result it will affect any future releases.

Personally I think it will be first come first serve as it is not a normal designer release so just make sure that you are ready and at your store when you are able to get there. Again they are fairies and not princesses so will not be as popular but then again they are designers which generally tend to sell fast and with all the hype from Frozen there is more of a demand for these dolls. Still with that all being said I dont see these selling out as fast as previous releases like the DFDC Ariel and Eric or Belle and Beast.

This here is one of the main reasons why I'm not posting anything about what's to come in the future now and all the cast members on the forums should "hush hush" now. Exactly like that, the cast member who leaked that photo of the LE Tinkerbell and Zarina dolls is officially terminated from the Disney company. & it should be also common sense from cast members that they shouldn't posting information about future releases such as limited edition products. Plus this also resulted to we can not say anything about what's coming in the shipment and when it is coming in the Disney stores. They did this because of the Frozen products, especially Elsa related products. Products aren't getting unto the floor because 10-15 people are already calling on the day that shipment is arriving and they want to put on hold. That's not being fair to the other guests that walks into the store first thing in the morning. So this is why I'm pretty happy that our DM are telling all the cast members to not tell guests what's to come in the shipment now. Though cast members won't tell you the "I don't know" statement because their management told them to, they'll try "re-magic" their saying and tell them something else to the matter. And I am hoping that the Disney doll collecting community would be patient and try not to "hassle" the cast members for further information since they're doing what they've been told. I mean you guys are awesome and probably one of the nicest people on the internet but please don't get too mad with the cast members telling you what they don't know but in reality they do and really want to tell you but they have to get the okay signal from the management team. I really love my job and hoping I would get future doll releases, especially part 2 of the designer fairytale collection and hopefully the Aladdin limited edition dolls! :D

Really? I thought it was the 18th every where?

Edit: Wow I just checked and you're right. There goes an hour I'll never get back.

I actuallz wasnt planning initially to buy a fairy doll, only villains.... but I actually love the tinkerbell design so I ordered her! She looks so pretty.

Anyone know how many were allocated to America etc....and how many to Europe? Just says 4000 worldwide. Think I can only order one though right?

I love the other dolls boots, wish they sold those seperately for my own OOAK dolls haha

I would really love a designer version of snow queen Elsa. I prefer the designer dolls to all the others. Not sure of the chances though, because they already have the other snow queen one...

1,000 were allocated in the Euro market so 3,000 in the US which will be split between stores and online.

I see a designer Elsa being likely over the next year or two. Just because they have a LE doll doesn't mean that they won't do a designer of them either. A majority of the princesses have a designer and a LE doll Rapunzel has the most she has two designer and two LEs of her.

Says u can only order 1 doll, but my friend has just ordered 4 times... so 4 dolls.

Will she get all? Or will disney cancel 3 orders??

They will get cancelled. Disney check for multiple orders and usually cancel them by the end of the day.
