I find this kind of strange but the movie has been out for a while now and usually they release the single main characters pins even before the movie comes out. I have two small collections and one is just of single princesses/heroines with no backgrounds or anything, nothing special, it had started basically to just get one pin on each trip to Disneyland and then to have one pin of each character, so it would be nice to have the girls from Frozen.
 
Current single Elsa or Anna ones are:
There's an Anna solo PTN pin coming out.
There're the Anna and Elsa solo ones from the booster set.
Anna/Olfa pin from Paris.
And the Elsa surprise stained glass pin from GSF/DSF.

As for other open edition ones - the typical full body standing pose ones - there haven't been any yet, but there may be some in the coming months, especially with the summer season coming.

They have single pins of them in the booster pack. Then there's an Anna solo in the DLP (LE) one. Then the Elsa stained glass DSF one and then the PTN ones that are coming out. So, 3 each so far of them individually on a pin.
 
imo, there are a lot of Frozen pins rn. Most of them are Anna and Elsa. They'll probably release more pins, considering the dvd needs to be released soon.
 
I cant wait for all the OE pins to come out like the singular princess ones, the shield ones + other OEs :)! Cant wait to build up my frozen collect without having to pay an arm and a leg for the pins :lol:
 
I wish they would release them like how they've done most of the princesses as just the princess-- they usually have the sparkly skirt, I don't know if that makes sense... similar to this:



That way it could be JUST the princess, or queen in elsa's case. I like them from the boosters and stuff but it would be awesome to have them in the style of the example above.
 
They will probably release the princess sparkle dress OEs once they are officially coronated and announced as a part of the princess line
 
Yeah sorry that was what I was referring to (what linz_pinz showed). The full body of the the character with no background, nothing fancy haha, because that is what my collection is, so that I wouldn't make myself crazy trying to find certain pins and I could just pick them up at Disneyland or Downtown Disney. Although I did have to ebay a few like Meg because they don't keep them stocked... For some reason I thought for the new movies they were released as the movie came out or even before but hopefully Fantasmic is right and I'll just have to be patient!
 
I'm waiting for the same thing. I only collect standalone pins and I really want Anna and Elsa :(
 
good idea! according to pinpics, the single Merida pin was released May 7, 2012, while Brave came out June 22, 2012. The Rapunzel pin was released November 4, 2010 while Tangled came out November 24, 2010. Hmmm....well I still have hope Disney!
 
You'd think disney would be churning out the OE pins considering how popular the movie is and how fast everything is selling out :lol:
 
There's a lot more Frozen pins out just months after the movie release than I'd say Merida, Rapunzel or any other princess/girl. You'll just have to be patient and wait for what else they do. I assume we'll eventually get other OE pins of the characters and they will start to be included in different sets, LR sets, holiday pins, WDI, etc. All of them. Just like Ralph is now, Rapunzel etc. I'd rather there be more than less. Or like they did with Ralph when they released a pin of him 5 months before the movie even debuted!
 
Give it some time you'll be seeing more pins like that. (yikes what am I saying)

I agree I wish they just speed up the orders. though they do have the snowflake pins in now,
