The first of two Alumni Weekends is happening on July 9, 2011 at DLR.... There are 6 pins that are going to be released. This release will use an online wristband distribution system which will open on June 17.

I think it, hmmmm sucks because they are cool pins and they should be available to the Scifi Academy. These are nicer pins than some of the pins released at the event.
 
I wonder if these are just pins that were intended for Academy but weren't finalized in time?

That Alderaan POH is awesome. I want a stack. ^_^

Bill, someone is already trading the POH one on pinpics. I don't know how they have it since it has not been released yet, but you may want to look into it.

I'm sure it is a pre-trade, but IMO, it seems like a very dangerous pretrade to make since there is no way to guarantee that this person actually will get this pin at this point. Since the wristbands are being distributed through the online distribution method, there is a very real possibility that this person may not get a wristband (I never have gotten a wristband via the online distribution method). Furthermore, assuming that this person doesn't get a wristband and there are pins left in the second chance line, this person may or may not get a pin that way, depending upon his/her position in line (I've gotten very lucky and very unlucky with that second chance line). Considering how popular I'd expect this pin to be and the luck of the draw to get it, this just doesn't seem like a pin that I'd want to set pretrades up for ... at least, not until after the results of the online wristband distribution and you are holding confirmation that you've got your pins waiting for you.
