Hi All!! I'm going, for the umpthinth time in a row. Can't seem to shake this "Pin Trading" thing. LOL

Hubby is going this time but, not for the Event. Just to tuck me in at night & get me out of bed in time each morning & to socialize with all our Pin Friends after they "kick us out" each night.

That would be terrific!! I think when it comes to the event itself, I'll probably look around and learn from what I'm seeing (usually that's how I learn things right away lol).
I think it's more to the matter of the pre-registration on thursday and making sure I got everything checked out to make sure I'm there.
But I'll probably be looking forward to your chat as I'm going to have LOADS of questions to ask! ;D
 
I'm going for the first Time since It All Started With Walt! I got in on the free day back when they had them. So, this is going to be a new experience!

Can't wait to see you all there!
 
DH and I are going, we are doing our annual drive down. As we have a car, we are staying off property. We have our Zuca packed with traders (one will have the PB&J for lunch). Only 3 weeks (until we leave) to go....

I haven't been around here much, but as Darris mentioned in the first post, I'll be at the event! I'm really excited for my first pin event and to meet many of you - even if I haven't been around DPF too much these days.

I'm so excited, I made a lanyard last night! Not expecting to do much trading (because the last of my wants are RIDICULOUS), but I'm psyched to see some beautiful pins and take part in all the events!!

Sadly, I was not awarded the Rapunzel or Belle pin and am hoping to trade. I am really more interested in the Rapunzel one so if anyone has an extra one please, pretty please keep me in mind.
Also, feel free to bring Little Mermaid and Tangled pins as I am hoping to trade for some as well :D

I think the Jersey pin traders usually host their multidirectional pin trading gathering (North Meets South Meets ... ) at this event each year. Unless memory fails or something has changed, they usually hold it in the PO Riverside food court on Friday night following the conclusion of the trading event - and they just ask that attendees purchase something (since we are monopolizing part of the resort's food court) and clean up after themselves (perfectly reasonable requests, IMO).

That being said, I think it would be great if we identified ourselves so we could find as many PDF'ers as possible at the event (or anyone who wants to be identified, anyway). I'm looking forward to meeting up with old friends and putting faces to names for the first time.

And speaking of which, am I going to see you at the event (and maybe after), Mahrii? I haven't seen you since the PoDM release, I don't think.

We will be there with the whole family .. will wear my megaelch nametag. If there is anything in my traders you want me to bring please make sure to PM me before
 
We should do a pin exchange, make it blind, everyone brings an LE pin with a minimum value, wrapped, and we throw it in a pile and draw a different pin.
Anyone interested?
