I was at Florida Mall (Orlando). Got all 3! I was Number 6 in line...I arrived at 6 AM. Everyone was pretty cool in line! Exchanged some numbers, had some good conversations!

I bombed out on Designer Cinderella, though- there were like 60ish people there, and they only had 19 dolls. Times Square was better!

Oh, my Maleficent is for trade, btw!

I wish I knew you were there...I would have loved to say hi! I got there around 7:20 and was about 18th in line...I totally underestimated this release. I (luckily) was able to get the last Maleficent and my pre-order Pink Aurora. I also didn't get Cinderella and will be trying for her online tonight.

This release was totally Dollmaggedon 2014 for me! LOL

I was getting cranky and anxious waiting to get my doll at the store. There was a long line, and the cms were slow for some reason. I got a chance to see blue aurora, and she is gorgeous and the way the gold embroidery contrast with the blue is stunning.

There only five people getting the dolls at my store, and even though I was number 4 for Maleficent, I got the last one! The box has some very minor damage, but everything else was perfect! It was a pretty great experience, but I could tell it was a little overwhelming for the cast members as I noticed they were kind of scrambling to get everyone the dolls they wanted. It was a wonderful experience regardless though, and it feels to good to finally have Maleficent!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy to finally have Aurora I waited so long for this day and I'm glad that it finally came, although I think I could see who the scalpers were since they looked the most uninterested when going to claim their dolls. I just love my Aurora so beautiful!!

Just in case anybody was curious on the shoes! Maleficent has black heels and Blue Aurora has blue flats on! Congrats to all who got what they wanted!

Can someone please post pictures of Philip? I'm curious to see if he looks any better in person

Was there a line? I was considering going but live far away. I was curious on how busy they ended up being.

I got there 2 hours and 45 minutes early and I was 3rd in line. Only 1 person wasn't able to get Blue Aurora. I would call to make sure they still have some available before driving.

Im staying home. If I were to go I would've done so in the am. Having never bought an le I was concerned I'd drive 1 hour 30 min and never get one. Im glad you were fortunate!

Yeah, they rushed me a lot through the process too. I managed to look at a good number of blue Auroras to find one I liked, as she was top priority. On the pink, I vetoed the first two he showed me quickly due to eye paint errors and they had to bring out two more. I looked at a Maleficent for a split second while they were brought out after which he popped the same two dolls on the counter and claimed they were new ones. I called him on it, citing that they have the same paint defects in the eyes and it wasn't until my mom called him on it did he relent. At which point he shows mea third and another cast member cites that they can only show us three of each. Thankfully, she was good. I didn't really get a pick of Maleficent, but aside from some box damage and a small black mark, she's fine. Though part of me wonders if I should have gotten Philip instead. All in all, a bit hectic doll selection, but I'm mostly happy.

DarthHans - Yes, my hubby thought my chances were better online. Im not so sure. Im hoping for an aurora.

Phew! I am so tired after that release. I woke at 6:40 AM thanks to my dumb alarm clock... I was supposed to wake up at 7, but apparently not! I cant complain though. That may have saved me in the long run from getting a messed up doll. I ended up getting there around 8, factoring in a stop at Starbucks and traffic. I believe I was fourth or fifth in line... They didn't hand out vouchers (disappointing), so I wasn't sure. I think in the end there were 10+ people in line. My store had 8 Auroras, 7 Maleficents, and 8 Philips. Everyone ended up taking mostly one of each doll, or Aurora and Maleficent alone. I got to the counter and the woman was not in uniform and a bit short with me. The first doll she brought to me was damaged, so I sent it back (making her visibly miffed), then the next one was too, and finally, third times the charm, this one was perfect!

However, I felt bad for the girl next to me, who was in a wheelchair and had her mom along to help her. The CM assisting kept giving her the same messed up boxes and saying "well thats all we have, we have no other dolls", when it looked to me like they just didnt feel like dealing with it. The same CM, when i went to check out with an Elsa classic doll after buying my Aurora, announced that I couldn't purchase it with my Mom's card, it had to be my own name on the card. (I paid for Aurora with my own cash and my mom gave me her card to get my sisters some stuff) My dad was with me, but apparently that meant nothing. I get that those are the rules, but it made me feel really embarrassed the way she acted about it.

Either way, I am really pleased with my doll! The experience was less than magical, as was the rise in price, but I'm happy to have her in hand :D
Good luck to everyone trying tonight ~

I got to my mall at 8 this morning and I was the first person in line! I got Blue Aurora and Maleficent and I am so happy! It was a really fun experience and I can't wait to do it again! I wish I had gotten the pink preorder of Aurora too now that I think about it. Oh well, I like my blue one for right now! They are both super gorgeous and I love seeing everyone so happy over them!

Thanks! And congrats to you for getting your pink Aurora! Thankfully I didn't really notice anyone who looked like a scalper at my store. They were mostly collectors and families, all of which were very nice. The two hours of sleep were soooo worth it.

DarthHans - How many people were there when it opened?

They only had 5 Blue Auroras and she sold out first. There had been 6 people total. Sadly the final person didn't get blue Aurora since that family in front of me bought two Blue Auroras, preordered two Pink Auroras and bought a Maleficent.
