That's hilarious! I heard that some stores still had some of them in stock (although I thought that Cindy and Briar Rose were long gone). I wonder if they collected them and decided to sell them off as a set rather than put them on sale...
 
Does anyone else think their might not be a LE doll of Cinderella? I remember last year people thought they would be for Maleficent but instead we got a LE statue. Maybe the LE slipper is the only LE item and not a doll? I wish we in the UK had a date, so I know when to look out for that slipper!

I've been wondering the same thing. The slipper and the tea set are both limited edition items, so maybe that's it?
 
I know I would love a LE doll but I'm wondering if the tea set and the slipper are the only LE pieces. Seems odd to release a LE doll of Cinderella but not do Maleficent, Espically if they are bringing Anna,Elsa, Kristoff, Hans and Fawn all out soon.
 
Did the RDC confirm a Maleficent doll? I only ask because on the RDC it said they confirmed the LE doll several months ago and it would be about the 17" price of about $119.95 USD. (But the translation could imply that it is a statue. Don't know how much the Maleficent statue was.)
 
I feel like there won't be a 17" Cinderella doll, although I'm not 100% sure about that. The thing with Maleficent is that the movie was released the same year as the Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray, and subsequently the LE dolls, which included a Maleficent doll. The LE Cinderella doll was released with the Blu-ray in 2012 (I think- please correct me if I'm wrong). It's very possible that an Angelina Jolie Maleficent doll was not made due to all the other Sleeping Beauty dolls being released in the same year. However, I know a lot of people did not love the LE Cinderella when she was released, and she wasn't a terribly popular doll so there is a possibility that they may release a doll, I just don't think it's very likely.

Mostly I don't think a doll will be made because if you look at the previously made live-action films (Alice in Wonderland, Oz, and Maleficent), only Alice in Wonderland released an LE doll, but she was based on both the live-action film and the traditional Disney film from 1951, which is one of their fairly popular animated movies and did not previously release any LE dolls. While Cinderella is also a popular animated movie from the 1950's, we DO already have a doll from the Blu-ray release in 2012, so it's not like a Cinderella doll would be completely new. Also Mattel's version of the doll is just really spot on (had to throw that out there lol). I feel like Disney is focusing on making dolls from their animated movies, and this year should be big with the Frozen Fever dolls, Designer Fawn, and probably (hopefully) Aladdin LE dolls in the autumn doll season. We may also possibly see releases for Big Hero 6 when that movie comes out on Blu-ray in February, so I feel like 2015 is a pretty big year for doll releases.

Who knows though? I could be completely wrong :) Actually I think this is a case where I'd be very happy if I was wrong haha
 
If Radio Disney Club says that one is being made, then one is probably being made. They have confirmed the existence of so many dolls in the past, and they have yet to be wrong (they also confirmed a Fawn doll was being made before she was announced, but not a lot of people seemed to notice that). If you think about it, we have gotten a limited edition doll that is related to each of Disney's live action fairy tales in some form or another. For Alice in Wonderland, the Alice doll we got for the animated Blu-ray release had a lot of inspiration from Tim Burton's film in her design. Then we got the China Girl doll for Oz The Great and Powerful. Finally, the Maleficent doll we got for the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition had inspiration from the Angelina Jolie film in her design.

So honestly, it wouldn't be that surprising to me if we did get a Cinderella doll for the new movie, especially when you consider that we started breaking the tradition of how Disney dolls are released last year with the Tinkerbell and Zarina dolls and how Cinderella is such an important character and film to the Disney company. Though I will admit, I will be a little upset if we get a Cinderella live action doll over a Cruella or Big Hero 6 doll (even though I am sure it will be gorgeous).

Now I want the Disney Store version too. Damn it. I wanna get the Disney Store Cinderella and Lady Tremaine and the Mattel Cinderella and Lady Tremaine. And here I thought I would finally be able to save some money.

The tea set looks so beautiful, its the main item i want from the collection. Do you think its child size or adult? I would be happy with either! Hope its released in the UK!

Thank u, and yeah that hot topic reciept in the first pic is from the slipper necklace which I got two of, and I'm glad I did because the slipper is REAL GLASS and my first necklace broke.
 
Neither of the glass slippers (mattel or DisneyStore) fit model muse or pivotal bodies which means that finding new bodies for these dolls will be a pain.
