Disney Tsum Tsum
So is it just online they won't restock, or in-store too? :( Sad I missed out on Alice in Wonderland and Frozen, it's silly - the Tsum Tsum are popular and nowhere does it say they're limited. There's no Disney Store near me either.

I think it's only online. I was told in store that they will be restock all the month, but I have not checked so not sure.

I think is something like this: Disney decides a number for the monthly set, they produce them and send to the warehouse. US has its own and Europe shares one in UK. The online stock depends on the warehouse stock so when the online stock is over that's means there are no more tsums in the warehouse. Disney does't produce a second wave of tsums except for Mickey and Pooh and some others like Lady, Marie, Stich...

In Europe is the first time we have a set sold out. In fact we hace only Alice set and two or three other tsums sold out (Snow White and Hans, I think). UK has just join to the tsum tsum madness so maybe they just have to calculate better the numbers. On USA is true that they used to sold out but I don't think on first time. Some set has been put on sale like Toy Story, 101 Dalamtians and now Cinderella so I think maybe it's also a problem with numbers. I do not think Disney is interested in produce tsums just for first day... But we will have to wait to next month. Maybe there are a lot of collectors now and that's the problem.

What I don't know is if the warehouse doesn't have any more tsums for the online web, do the stores will restore them?? I don't know. I hope they have a separate and reserved number for stores but I don't know how it works...

I just hope Disney recalculate the numbers so tsums don't become a limited product....

Obviously it's the first time a set sold out, as they were all at once available only from March 31st, which is only 2 weeks ago they started selling them online :P

What bothers me more is, while they are sold out, they remain visible on the website.

The Winnie the Pooh bee collection has been entirely removed from the website due to being sold out?

With regards to restocking the Tsum Tsum in brick and mortar stores, and I can only speak for Canada here, not Europe, but there will be NO restocking of the monthly Tsum Tsum Tuesday releases, ever :(

I am way too well known on a first name basis with several of the employees at my local Disney Store and this is what the manager told me on Tuesday morning when I went to pick up the Big Hero 6 set and missed out on Fred. That's why I went and bought him online that very night, and it's a good thing I did as the entire set is now sold out on disneystore.com. I trust the manager when she told me that there would be no restock. Tsum Tsum aren't technically limited in the same way LE dolls or other collectibles are but they're limited in a production run. And now that they're rapidly growing in popularity I suggest everyone who wants to collect them waste NO time on Tsum Tsum Tuesdays picking up their favourites. Otherwise you'll end up sorely disappointed and having to resort to eBay at 2-3 times the original price.

Ugh, and looking at eBay selling prices of the Big Hero 6 set I'm even more annoyed at that customer who bought LITERALLY every single BH6 Tsum Tsum except the few I was able to grab before her grubby mitts got to them.

No :-)
Only UK started to sell them on March 31st, the rest of Europe (at least Spain) sells them since December-January. We have had all the Tsum Tuesday (101 Dalmatians, Frozen, Cinderella and now Alice), so there has been enough time to sold out any of them. What it's true is that is the first set that is release with UK also, so maybe that's the reason why is sold out: they have not calculated right the number.

What bothers me more is, while they are sold out, they remain visible on the website.

I don't understand what you say... Normally when a product is sold out it disappear from the website, except for the set picture/link, where you can see it sold out, but the individually picture/link disappears.

The Winnie the Pooh bee is on the spanish website and there's stock...

[...]but they're limited in a production run.

Yes, I think everyone agree they are limited in production. But maybe the restock in stores depends on how every country manage their stock, because I have just called my store and they have told me that they have received more tsums of Alice's set, everyone except Chesire cat. Don't know how is possible because they are out of stock online (so they are out of stock in the UK warehouse). They have told me that they used to receive the tsums once they release but they don't know how many or which one. Last month they used to receive Frozen tsums, but they weren't out of stock so...

On the other hand, the website is like crazy today because yesterday Kristoff, Perla and Alien were sold out and now there are stock of everyone again (excepto for Snow White who is officialy sold out since February).

I wish Disney pronounces itself so we know what to do. I'm a little bit nervous about next release and last one was just five days ago!!! We have two sets and I don't know if I should buy them online at 8 a.m. or I should call the store so they keep them to me....

I don't remember what happens with Frozen on USA, did they sold out on first day? I don't think so....

Well it depended on which character in the Frozen collection, honestly. Kristoff and Hans sold out within the first few days, but Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Sven stayed on the site for several weeks. Anna just sold out online, and the other three are still available.

So what happens this month? Do you really think BG6 is more popular than Frozen??
I really think that they have reduced the numbers so they could sell all during the month (all the previous sets have been on sale before sold out, in USA) and they have reduced too much.

I'm pretty sure there were less Hans and Kristoff than Anna, Elsa and Olaf.

I believe you're right about different quantities. Disney Store most definitely underestimated how many people would want the entire collection over just an Anna and Elsa and probably had much fewer of Kristoff and Hans made than the other characters, explaining how they sold out much faster than the other four. They also probably didn't think as many people would want the Big Hero 6 Tsums as they did, which was why most of them sold out the first day. I understand having different numbers of Tsums made depending on the popularity of the character, but I hope the store makes better estimates the next time around. Because if they don't, the Little Mermaid Tsums in May will go just as fast as BH6, if not faster.

I bought a few for my son when they came out. Of course I had to get Elsa :). Oh man bought most of BH6 but same did not expect them to sell sooo fast :/. Going to my DS Monday hopefully I find some. I'm hooked on the game lol I'm adding you guys My IDs : fluffyslayer & plush2plush

The Winnie the pooh bee set has been removed from the UK and French site, so I figure they are sold out there.

I see no point in leaving the Alice ones on there, you feel lucky when you see them, click it, only to see 'sold out' next to it.

I have the distinct feeling I'm hooked on a new collection. Which isn't bad....but I'll probably have no free money to spend anymore either, heehee. I am getting to my DS on May 5th RIGHT when it opens; I mean, I'm going to be waiting at the doors for the mall to open. Better to be safe than sorry. I really want to get Ariel and Eric....maybe Max too. :). By the way, my store still has a few Svens in stock as of a few days ago. Should I try to snatch one up? I really want to get him....as I'm understanding it from this thread, the store will not restock the Frozen tsum tsums.

I heard Inside Out Tsums for June... Do yall think they'll dedicate the month to them or will they release them seperately from the monthly tsums? (:

I hope they'll be the monthly set... Next month is gonna be a huge efford with Little Mermaid and BG6, so in June I hope there will be only 5 for Inside Out.

There might be more than 5 for Inside Out. I definitely want the five emotions. There could be a *Bing Bong* (edit) and a Rainbow Unicorn. I've seen those as mystery minis and plushes.

Billabong?

I'm really hoping that the Inside Out set won't sell out quite as quickly as Big Hero 6 did. Or at least, I hope it doesn't sell out before I have a chance to go get them.

I believe aka.seim meant the character 'Bing Bong', who has been pretty well kept under wraps by Disney/Pixar. :). And I agree, I very much hope the Inside Out tsum tsums don't sell out as fast as the Big Hero 6 ones did. I'm trying to go to every Tsum Tsum Tuesday at my DS at opening, but I might end up getting there later in the day, and then they're all sold out. :(. I've heard too many horror stories of collectors getting there even a half hour after opening, and one person there had bought practically every tsum tsum to resell on eBay or something.:mad:. I don't think that's right, and certainly not fair to the collectors. I'm done ranting now.

Bing Bong! My bad! Lol. Yes he's a secret character but I think he might get a tsum tsum. He is very briefly in the Spanish trailer.
I'm just so excited for the movie!

I'm hoping for June they release something like Lion King tsum tsum's or Aladdin characters. How cute would a Rajah tsum tsum be? Actually, if Disney backtracked and released the rest of the cast from Aristocats to accompany the Marie tsum tsum, or the rest of the cast from Lady and The Tramp to accompany the Lady tsum tsum, that'd be pretty awesome, too! :D

I'm also very sad that they didn't release a Mochi tsum tsum with the BH6 series. What, no kitty love? Shame on you, Disney. :nono:

Didn't know I need Lion King Tsum Tsum till you said it. :bigthumb: That would be adorable. I think finishing up some sets would be any awesome idea! Could you imagine a Si and Am Tsum Tsum. Would definitely buy both The AristoCats and Lady and the Tramp!!

Mochi would be so cute!!! People would go nuts!! I know I would.
