Not really, I think they've already decided on those, and I don't doubt she'll sell out relatively quickly. I doubt she'll still be available later today. I think this shows we have less competition from scalpers, but there are enough collectors to buy her out, even if she's not as popular as a lot of other princesses. I know some people don't want the info posted because of scalpers, but I think scalpers already know how to get the dolls and it helps collectors more.
 
I was on the fence about Jasmine but I really loved the details in her outfit. Still not entirely sold on the sparkly skin but I pre-ordered her. I honestly expected her to be sold out already. Really excited to add her to my Aladdin collection!

WEll, if there are any scalpers, I really don't think it will matter much because I don't think they will be making any profit on this doll. She's alright, but not as popular as other Princesses, and there are a lot of people passing on this doll because of her "shine." So, if scalpers do buy her, they will just be loosing money and "helping" those who change their mind later (because she won't cost much more than retail). Just my personal opinion. Yes, she is only 5000, but I don't think that will matter much. Especially IF Disney releases more 17 inch dolls from Aladdin (since you never know with Disney because they released a Blue Aurora after the preorder of the Pink Aurora). I am happy everyone got her who wanted her.
 
She's still available! I wonder if they sell less than expected in the US they might consider giving us a few more in Europe. Even if she is less popular it still seems unfair to give less than a thousand to those outside the US, only 500 shared between about 5 countries won't last long! Especially now there's a 2 month wait, when more people have the opportunity to decide they want her.

I was not paying attention to when this would be released. Went to the site this morning to purchase what I put in my cart yesterday and stumbled upon her....and she was still available for purchase! Was this pre-order announced with a date? I've never been in a situation where I got to impulse buy one of these. Usually lots of planning, waiting, and caffeine required.

I hope so! I never usually collect Aladdin merchandise but this Jasmine doll looks gorgeous - I love how detailed her jewelry and outfit are. At least it means hopefully everyone who wanted her managed to pre-order. :)
