DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion

I just noticed my order (Elsa & Anna in the same order) is quite strange. It shows two different shipping addresses(old & new for each one) and the Order summary just shows one doll's prince + shipping fee.
I am so worried now~

I just asked the guest service, this order is quite normal and will be shipped and billed seperatedly...

I just saw someone say they could add Elsa agin. It's weird how your account looks but sometimes it takes awhile to update. Did that same amount come from your account, or they deducted money for both dolls?

Wow, didn't expect Elsa being back again.

They deducted money for both dolls. I emailed them and wait for their reply.
 
Interesting that Disney now removes the dolls from the website when they sell out. Don't they usually just stay on the site until the next 24 hour site refresh? I noticed they did that for the tsums as well.
 
Only doll listed on the site is the Anna and kristoff designer set. Wonder how long that will take to sell out. I'm surprised it's still in stock

In the US they don't combine shipping, even if you check out together. The dolls come in the original shipper boxes and they don't put them together in one larger box.

You can call their # and see if they will combine the orders or add one doll to one order, while cancelling the other?

Yeah it seems the set is not as popular as the LE dolls or some of the other designer dolls in the line. I might swing by one of my local Disney stores to see if they have any left
 
Last night was tricky for me, I put in the number for Elsa right at 2am, and the page just spun with the mouse ears, so I tried Anna in the other tab I had open, so I put her in the cart and checked out as fast as I could. But when it came to Elsa I had to refresh the page, she was up and I added her to my cart,then I checked out..but it didn't go through I got an error message, so then I tried again, this time she was in, then she was taken out. I was getting worried I wasn't going to be able to get her, but this time when I put her in and checked out it did go through but it took 30sec of the mouse ears spinning. It all seemed really difficult, way more difficult than in the past. Big THANK YOU! to everyone here I don't know what I would do without you, Oh that's right pay $300, like I did with Ariel before I learned so much from all of you.

I have not gotten an email, this is by far the longest amount of time for me it has taken to get a confirmation email, but the orders say active.
 
I don't think the Anna/Kristoff set is or would be less popular, I think they didn't sell out in minutes like the others because regular shoppers just don't know about it or that it came out last night. The website advertised the 5 doll release dates in a special Designer Fairytale section. Perhaps it's these people who speed up the sell out process. The average person does not follow what happened at D23 or even know there is a blog that advertises release dates. I saw a facebook post where they were upset they did not know about 17" Elsa....which is funny because I have felt like it's been a FOREVER countdown. I think out of all the designer dolls this season, this would be the most popular as she's not with a villain....it's just a really sweet set :)

I contacted the CS, they said my order is ok and so should be yours.
 
Disney Customer Service informed me that they cannot combine orders once they have been placed. Ah well. Would have been nice to save on the shipping, but oh well. Works out a little less than eBay's inflated prices, but at the same time the scalper doesn't make the money (but customs do...ugh).

You are right my mom was at the DS store yesterday and they didn't even mention them. My mom got them last night though.
When my mom was chatting with people in line they all were talking about how impossible it was to get the 17" dolls online, they were also talking about how Disney keeps the release quiet and a lot of the people there just found out about the dolls the day before. I too think that the Anna/Krist set is cute/sweet, my daughter loves Anna so I had to get it.

I add a couture de force figure to my cart and add the SHIPMAGIC code then right before the dolls went live I removed it so I had the code ready and got the free shipping.

I'm glad my friend who bought in store had the item numbers as searching them allowed me to get the dolls checked out before the links were posted anywhere. It did seem the mouse ears spun a lot longer than the last time though...
 
Congratulations to everyone who got their dolls! Though they have run out of outfits for Anna and Elsa to wear I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them as 17 inch dolls.
 
Does anyone think the dolls prices will drop at all? The lowest are just under £300 for Elsa and £250 for Anna approximately. I really want them but think £300+ is too steep.
 
Did you guys see that OOAK bed head Anna someone made a while back...? So cute! It was on one of the tumblr pages I think.
