DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
Yeah, I agree, and the price difference isn't all that much. I'd gladly buy an LE in need of TLC for customizing, but it'd have to be pretty cheap. There are too many other dolls on my wishlist that I could buy new for what some of these damaged used ones cost.

She was like 200$ plus shipping, but it was an auction.

Hey guys! Do you think it's a good price 980 euros for the Jasmine and Aladdin Wedding Set? I saw at how much they are sold in the US and it's seems a very good price! and plus it can be hand delivered (it's only 20km from where I live!)
What do you think? Thanks >_<

Got my FF girls! I was a little worried as they went from Disney, to NYC, to Dubai via my shipping company, and one box had a dent, but I took them out and they are PEREFCT! Not a flaw that I can see (although I need to check again in daylight) Numbers are in the 1900s for Elsa and 3000s for Anna.

They sold for $750 USD plus tax. So $825-ish? Or 500 pounds?

Wait, you live in Dubai?! :O

Question: ALSO, do you guys think that LE Ariel could be traded for LE Purple Rapunzel? Or is that a stretch? ^^;

The purple LE 17' Rapunzel doll, is very rare and hard to find today for a reasonable prize, on the second hand market (ebay).
While you can still find the Ariel doll for a good prize. So i dont know, maybe not. :/

You can still find if you look. I know someone who recently got LE purple Rapunzel at a great price on ebay, much less than the going rate

I can't stop staring at the dolls (esp the new FFs!) and I'm seriously itching to debox..lol Anyone's getting that urge especially after getting the FFs?

Yes! I've been toying with the idea since I got them, but I'm afraid of dust >_< I have the 17" singing Anna and Elsa dolls from a while back, and they definitely get dusty from sitting out, so I'm afraid!

Well I'm thinking I'll probably still put them back in their boxes after I debox them to prevent them from getting dusty and take them out from time to time. I'm itching to open them up so I can really appreciate and admire the details of all the dresses, especially with the recent ones like FF sisters and SQ elsa from the designer series.

Hey, thanks bookhugger! I called UPS the day I saw the status change and they weren't much help. Thankfully Anna finally arrived and she looks great. So happy the stress of this doll season is finally over!

If you regularly inspect them at least once a week they won't get dusty. I've deboxed all my dolls, and not one of them are dusty.

My FF Elsa arrived today, she is perfect! I'm so glad I got her - I think the cape is the best feature. :) So happy to finally be able to own a Frozen LE doll.

My Anna finally came & her plastic is bent in the corner from where someone forced the plastic corner in rather than making sure it would fit in properly. First time I've really ever had trouble with quality control. It was definitely pre-postage damage because the box it shipped in is fine.

oh well I'm just glad I finally got her.

Sorry to hear that :( You should at least call Disney to see if they can compensate you for it.

The accidental Elsa has concluded her California vacation and is now on her way back home. :)

Hopefully when she arrives back she'll either be used to replace one lost/destroyed in shipping, or get put up on the website for just the briefest of moments before some fan who missed out manages to snatch her up.

Finally received my FF Elsa & Anna~ So happy~ They are all gorgeous!

cxn4689, your dolls look great positioned side-by-side like that :) Elsa and Anna really do make a great set, with the string connecting.

Speaking of Elsa, I know I've gushed over her before, but since I received her, I just keep stopping to gaze at her. I thought she was beautiful in photos, but in person, she's stunning. Can't wait to get Anna to keep her company. :)

Well guys the next line of Disney Blu-rays has been revealed! It will be called the "Walt Disney Signature Collection", and will start with Snow White being re-released in February. What do you guys think this will mean for future doll releases? I dunno how I feel about Disney possibly making a second Snow White doll, but this could mean that the Evil Queen will finally be getting the 17" doll treatment!
