2016 Pin Releases
I can't wait for the 2016 year to get started. I think the pins in 2016 are going to be great!
 
The Magical Montage pins will be released one each month. I hope the Figment/Dreamfinder Magical Montage pin is the one for January!

There's also a Figment pin among the Mascots collection for WDW, but again there's no release date info on any of these. Just that they'll be available in 2016.
 
Rules for the character block release at DSF were posted today. 6am cutoff time.

I am still hoping to get the sleeping beauty block... if anyone gets it and doesn't want it... I have traders and some cash.
 
I'm so glad they decided to make the Disney Mascots into pins. I remember my friend showing me the shirts and there were too many shirts that I wanted. Having the Mascots in pin format will take up less space in the house :)

I also like the Nautilus pin. It looks great and matches the Twenty Eight & Main merchandise at the parks and DS.com.

Another fun year for pins!

If I get a good number at the release I can get it for you, since the only ones I need from that set are Wreck-it Ralph and Robin Hood.

EXACTLY THIS! Ever since they debuted the logos a few years ago I've wanted pins instead of shirts because I didn't have a hundred bucks to spend on t-shirts.
 
Posting this in both the 2015 and 2016 threads.

I just have to come out and say it. That New Years one is bad. What is going on with Hades' face? Bad typography. Ursula's boob is all wonky and why does she had the noise maker in her teeth? Very poorly designed, IMO.
The January calendar has problems too. The way they wrote out 2016 is horrible.

Hmm....they do indeed look rather odd. The thing that excites me the most is that it looks like the 2016 calendar theme is Pixar, which means there will be an Inside Out one sometime this year.
 
I'm not too impressed with these surprise releases. The new year one looks odd; Hades looks the worst on it! If the calendars are Pixar, that works for me, since I'm not a rabid Pixar fan I won't be tempted to get them, unless my birth month is Brave themed.

I just saw this.. That would be awesome. No matter what i hope you get a good number so you can get your two pins.
 
I just saw that there are new Open Edition pins at DSF?

There is a King Candy one on eBay anyway - is that for real?

And is anyone doing pickups around there?
 
OMG that Figment pin!!!! :D I need it! If anyone gets one and doesn't want it please let me know, Figment is the symbol of my first trip to WDW last year and I love him a lot!! :D
 
Rapunzel is very nice. How long do OE pins stick around the soda shop, I wonder. I might call later this month and order it, but I'd rather just pick it up in May, if they stay that long.
