Report from my Mom at Animal Kingdom. So lots of other circus animals, and basically just Dumbo with his Mom's trunk.

Oh, and I kind of guessed that it would be this scene because it's one of the most recognized from that movie. Another point, going for it is it features the backsides of the zebras. So if you are going for *that* collection, you can keep it up.

I tease, but the zebra isn't in the same league as the horse. You can primarily see a mommy zebra nuzzling a baby zebra, but they are turned in a way that you can see their butts. But it would actually be a nice scene, since it's not all butts.
 
So a lot of people will get cute animals, but not actually characters they know or like. Interesting.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the room when they pick which scene to include in each pin. I'd just like to know how much thought they put into it... if they actually watch the scene, or if some intern says to another "I haven't seen that movie in 15 years, but I do remember that one scene... you know, with that song... when Dumbo gets separated from his mom..." And the other intern says, "Yeah, that's the only scene I remember too... let's just do that scene and head out to get lunch."
 
And why does it have to be only one scene? I would dearly love a Si/Am pin from the Lady & the Tramp pins but I fear it will only be the spaghetti eating scene. I mean we already had an Alice pin series with no Cheshire Cat in it, so why not a Lady/Tramp pin series with no Si/Am?
 
What about Pinocchio. It's probably Jiminy with pops and the Blue Fairy. I don't know if I want Figaro included. I can't be in the park to get it and it will be difficult to get what I want. Ok, let's hope it's all Jiminy and pops
 
Has anyone else noticed that the last few scenes picked usually involve songs? For Cinderella it was Bibbiti-Bobbiti-Boo, for Alice it was the Unbirthday song, for Jungle Book it was the Bare Necessities and so on. Maybe the songs make the scenes more memorable and that's why those are picked, but I think the next few releases will involve songs as well.

I'm hoping for Figaro or Cleo in this one! Or Pinocchio with the donkey ears & tail.
 
I wonder if its the same scene at DLR? I'm just happy its not the pink elephants! I think they are using the scenes from the songs too because Peter Pan was "You Can Fly". Hmmmm wonder what they'll do for Fantasia then?
 
DLR is also the baby be mine scene. Lots of circus animals left when I got there, but there are some good Dumbo ones that I have seen others with.
 
DLR only had a few of the circus animals. I saw one each of the zebras and giraffes. I got two great Timothy Mouse pins and a couple of nice Dumbos as well.

Lots of Dumbo! I'd say 6 of 10 in each pack was Dumbo! Very surprised by the selection. I went through four full packs at Emporium and Westward Ho to check em out. Timothy Mouse was harder to find...maybe one per pack of ten pins.

Thank you so much for the info. I wanted a Dumbo so that makes it easier to find.
 
The pictures aren't the greatest, but since my Mom not very technological minded, I think she did great getting them to me in the first place. Here are the scenes she got for Masamune and me.

Just for my own curiousity, did anyone spot any Mrs Jumbo cells? You see her breifly at the start of the scene, but that's about it.

I don't collect these pins but my mom does. I'm hoping she'll be able to find a scene she likes somewhere- very awesome that there are a lot with Dumbo ^_^
