2017 Pin Releases
These puzzle sets lately have bee repeating characters that are already in the set. Which, for me, breaks the continuity. So I would love something different. The Cave of wonders would also be really cool.

Yesssss, I agree. No repeating characters would be great. XD There are so many characters, Disney! You don't have to repeat them!

The Maleficent from the SB set is the real offender. If she had been in her dragon form, I'd have forgiven it. But she was in mildly different pose. So that was pretty annoying.

I agree 1000%. I thought that was a REALLY odd choice.
First chaser! I approve. XD

Yep, the puzzle chasers are designed to blend into the rest of the puzzle, so they are full color They are either a new character that isn't pictured or a different pose/outfit of a shown character (the latter more than the former).

Congrats on getting the first chaser! Nice for you Genie collectors. :)

Here's hoping that once they run through their more popular movies, they do a Robin Hood puzzle set!

I hadn't thought of RH! I'm hoping for a Herc one. And hoping against hope for a Sword in he Stone one!

Mulan would also be incredible!

I'm guessing they'll do Mulan before they do Robin Hood. They tend to favor the princess movies.

So far they've done Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Nightmare Before Christmas, Finding Nemo, Lilo and Stitch, Haunted Mansion, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Mermaid, plus Pixar characters, random characters, and villains.

My GUESS (purely a guess, not based on anything factual), is that the next few sets will be Tangled, Frozen, Up, and/or Snow White. I wouldn't be surprised if they did Hercules sometime this year for the anniversary, since they seem to be pushing more Herc and Hades pins lately.

(Sorry for the double post, but this is not related to my previous one).

I took photos last night of the actual pins for this month's DSF releases. They look much different in person than the flyer.

The Valentines hearts are thick and glitter-filled. I couldn't tell if they are one solid piece or pin on pin, but I know they are not hinged.

The Oscar poster pins have stained glass elements.

I also took close up photos of each pin, if anyone wants to see one more closely.

I would bet Peter Pan will show up at some point.

The Oscars set looks amazing! :D

I really wish there was more detail on the sun for the LK one(all that red is a bit boring), but I still absolutely love it! :D
