HOMIGOOOOSH that pixelated Felix and the F&G Judy! Definitely going to pick up that Ralph/Felix set the next time I go to DLR. (I'll have Ralph for sale or trade if anyone just wants him.)

I'm curious to see if the DLR Easter eggs are the same set, or will be switched up some. I was really hoping that Nick and Judy or Joy and Sadness would be two of the eggs.

It looks like the HDKDL park unwrapped quite a bit of the ice cream pins, many HKDL traders have a few to trade. So if you're looking for them I'd definitely try my luck now! :)

Things to Know Before You Register

  • To ensure that all attendees have equal access to the trading boards, we will again provide each Trading Event attendee with vouchers to use for the trading board experience. Guests will have the opportunity to trade at the boards a designated number of times during the two-day event.


  • As a reminder, it is also important to note that Walt Disney World Resort has updated park rules regarding items that may be brought into the theme parks. Guests should be aware of the restrictions on bags (including suitcases, backpacks, trailers, wagons) and folding chairs. Please carefully review the list of prohibited items and other park rules at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/park-rules/.


  • The Disney Pin Celebration Love is an Adventure will not feature a live or silent auction.


  • Due to Guest feedback, the Pin Breakfast will not be returning for Disney Pin Celebration Love is an Adventure.


  • This year’s event will offer character meet & greets and additional photo experiences, plus a special Disney Artist Panel in addition to the Pin Artist signing.

TL;DR
No Breakfast. No Auction. Breakfast, I'm sad about. Auction I'm not. It leaves more pins to actually be put on the boards instead of giving it to the highest bidder. Which was a problem two years ago, because they ran out of pins at the end of Saturday.

Ooooh I like the sound of the event! And with an April registration, hopefully by then I can figure out if I can attend or not. Crossing my fingers that the pin catalog will be released soon!

It's usually released a few hours before registration opens...
 
I'm sad about the breakfast being cancelled. I was really looking forward to going to that. I wonder what in guest feedback made then decide to cancel? (Or if they're just using "guest feedback" as an excuse...)

From what I've heard about the silent/live auctions, though, it's probably better for everyone involved that those were cancelled. I wonder if maybe they'll distribute some of those pins through the trade boards and some through RSP. I mean, they had that LE15 countdown pin set in the RSP last year.

Do they normally do character meet and greets at these events? The theme has the opportunity for some really neat character pairings! (And hopefully rare characters!)

Ug, now to wait until April for the catalog......

You just made me realize the countdown pins were missing this year... Those would have been so cute. I can't imagine what made them cancel the breakfast, other than the guarantee of fresh pins for the breakfast people could have made the non-breakfast people upset. And the auctions were so terrible. Ugh. The Frozen pin set that "sold" for 15,000 as a joke. They should have held that person responsible for making their bet. I think they did characters one year, I want Anna and Kristoff. I'm more interested in the artists that they're going to have. Like are the non-pin artists designing pins for this event? That would be super awesome, because it would guarantee new poses and designs.
 
Preparing my wallet for any Tangled pins... "Love is an Adventure" surely means there will be some Rapunzel and Flynn XD
Event pins are usually pretty creative so I'm excited to see, I hope they also showcase some of the rarer couples too
 
I was wondering about the Countdown pins too! I was hoping they would do a run so we'd have a better idea of what to expect!

And I think they had some Pixar characters last year. I know I saw pictures of Carl and the Princess ant from A Bug's Life.

Of course, I finally get to go and they cancel the breakfast.

I'll be in Florida on registration day. So I'll be able to get my Dad registered as well. Just have to manage around park time. Although, the main event shouldn't sell out that quickly and so if I wait until we get home, it should probably be okay. We're usually not out late.
 
Seeing as how there's a Figment plush in the promotional image, I'm expecting some great Dreamfinder + Figment pins! :fig:

Unfortunately my plans won't work out to make it, but I can't wait to see the catalogue!
