2017 Pin Releases
Oh wow, this is a great question! From someone who has only paid partial attention (ie, I'm not collecting the series, but I'm curious about the individual pins in it)--how many have they released so far? Was June due to be the second? Third? Was it announced and just hasn't appeared? Or "crickets chirping" all around?
There are two so far. Railroad and Never land. I'm anxious to see the rest! I was hoping for a GMD, but since they did Big Ben with Never land, that's probably not going to happen. XD

It's 3 separate pins (so to speak--the roses come together on a card).

OMIGOSH!! These are beautiful!!

P.S: Sorry I've been absent. Been poorly and in the middle of moving x__x

OK, I guess I was laughing too hard at Merlin for the LE200 Hercules Anniversary. Now I'm dying over the Lilo & Stitch LE200 Anniversary. If anyone's looking to sell or trade one, let me know!!

Revenge is a dish best served salty, full of tears. And on like a Styrofoam plate because that's all I can afford right now after the Herc Anniversary...

Touche. Just be glad you don't collect BOTH Hercules and Lilo & Stitch. You'd probably have had a coronary at this point. I think I see Styrofoam plates in my future as well...

HAHAHA!! I laugh at all of you Hercules and Lilo & Stitch collectors! I laugh long, and I laugh hard.

Surely there will be no consequences for my actions. Surely there will not be a glut of Mulan anniversary pins next year. That would just be awful.

*stocks up on Styrofoam plates in hopeful anticipation*

And when was Sword in the Stone released? Could DSF by that diabolical??
It'll be 55 next year. But I was around for the 50th anniversary and it was pretty vanilla.

There was just a DSF release (alongside a Robin Hood one for the 40th, which someone kindly got both for me at cost at the release) and then one parks release that I picked up myself on the actual anniversary day (the only LE SitS pin I've been able to buy personally from Disney, I think...).

So, I'm ~less~ worried, somehow? There's also a LOT less competition for SitS, hahah! Suddenly everyone and their dog collects Herc apparently. I say there was something in the water XD

I have this theory--and I'm really not saying this just to yank your chain--that Disney does "5" anniversaries better than "0" anniversaries. In general, that's how Alice anniversaries have gone In My Time as a Collector. 60 was fine, got some pins (Wonderland is popular, if not princess-popular) but 65 was a freakin' BO-nan-zaaaaa. So you're right, SitS doesn't get a ton of love, but I hope Disney continues its recent trend of acknowledging the "lesser" (ie, non-princess) movies in its canon and at least gives you a few nice pins to add to your collection. You'll need a break from this year's flat-out onslaught, but a few high-quality additions would be welcome, right?

Any and all SitS pins are welcome, hahah! I'd certainly like to see more Merlin as a wizard, as Mim has gotten some attention lately, and we did have that fabulous Squirrel PTD (still probably my absolute favorite...)

I'd also love to see more of Arthur, especially as the animals. He makes the cutest fish. XD

There's plenty of ground still to cover in that film, so I'm hoping we get something nice. Maybe not Alice-entire-exclusice-pin-release-all-to-yourself-that-was-so-expensive nice. But nice. XD
