Loving such great discussions! A couplea things:

1) from one collector to another please please please please please do NOT play in the opps! Aside from the fact that they are illegal, take two steps back and ask yourself what’s driving these insane prices? It’s not the pin’s value (yet to be established), it’s not that there are more than 250 people willing to shell out $500 for one (newly released) pin, it’s the fact that these opportunists (literally) are happy to purchase a set for $1200-$1500 set and raffle each one off and pull in about $500-$600 for raffling one pin. So even if they pay $300 a pin/ they can make an extra $2-300 profit raffling one pin. So I get it, it would be nice to win, but every time you participate you are undercutting your fellow collector who would like to trade for one or buy one without having to take a second mortgage on their home.

2) tech bubble, housing bubble, Bitcoin bubble, Heroine bubble.... I’m calling it right now Stay strong my friends! Don’t buy into the hype. This too shall pass. Make conservative decisions in this frenzied market.

3) I am a huge Mulan pin, but... . That pin. Her profile looks like my younger daughter’s profile prior to the embarkation of extensive orthodontia. I think she’s rocking both an overbite and a crossbite. Fa Zhou is going to be on the hook for some crazy expensive dental bills (which I am way too familiar with. In my next life I’m coming back as a suburban orthodontist.) .

Yep, this was announced as part of the Hong Kong event (back on page 18), though that was posted back in January.

Luckily I was able to find someone to get two from. (Disney needs to stop putting both Nick and Judy on the majority of the pins! Having to track down two of each is getting old. ;) )

If anyone is selling or trading Marie I really need her for my mom please dm if you have her!

Wow, that is beautiful! but... why make Marie LE 150?! She is so dang popular already

The majority of surprise pins during monthly DSF releases are LE150. A few times they match the size of the rest of the set (like the Inside Out character block or the Vanellope racecar pin) or are LE200, but usually they're 150.

Thank you, that is good for me to know. We will be moving to the area soon, so I hope we can start trying for some LE pins soon! I've got a lot of research to do :D
