Went to my local DS this AM to buy this set. I bought the last one. This surprised me a bit since most of the other monthly releases have been around for at least a few days and a couple were around for over a week. Or... perhaps the DS downsized the quantity, since demand was not what they have expected?

Anyone else buy these at a store this morning? If so what was your experience?

I was surprised, too. The plush has been selling out within the first few minutes on the store opening, but the pins usually last the day, and the cups even longer. Today, the store was giving out cards to guarantee those who had come early their "spot". The plush was all accounted for by 8:45am. The store only received 12 of the plush. They received about 20 pin sets, and those were sold out within the hour.

I bought the set online. Had to run to the mall to pick up something at Hallmark so I stopped by my Disney store. At around 3 when I got there, there were only 2 pin sets left. The one I bought and the display. There were about 5 mugs left, including the one I bought. This pin set was my favorite so I bought an extra set to put on my lanyard and I just loved the mug. Will bring that to work and use it to. My friend told me the plushes sold out within 15 minutes of the store opening, not sure if all the tickets were handed out before they opened or not.

Agreed... I really like the blue set from last month too, but this month is also my favorite thus far.

I actually showed up at my store at 9:50 (for 10:00AM) opening and got in the line of 30 or so people that had already formed. They had passed out cards prior to my arrival (one for pins and one for plush) and the women in front of me said she had the last pin card, so someone in line opted not to buy a set of pins or the final set would not have been available for me. I made my purchase at about 10:25... so that is the time they sold out at my store.

My store gets more of the pins and mugs than the plushes. The plushes sell out fast. Jan and Feb lasted about 2-3 hours. March and April both sold out within an hour. I ordered my May plush online but only the display plush was left when I got there at 10:10 last month. Probably could have asked if they'd sell it to me but I didn't need an extra. Have an extra set of the pins and mug from last month too, the mug is at work holding my pens. My store had January mugs until the end of Feb. They had the March mugs during the April release, kinda kicking myself for not getting an extra. It's one of my favorites. May is sold out and I am sure June is sold out. They still have a couple April and Feb mugs. The pins for Jan were in my store for about a month an a half. The Feb pins sold out in about 3 weeks. March-June sold out within a day or two.
 
Yeah, I downloaded the app to my phone, and everything showed up there. So I added things to my cart and then checked out on my computer. Pin, wallet, and the Mickey Sketchbook ornaments from May & June ordered.

I'm relatively new so I can't post links yet, but if you go to the main page on ShopDisney, under the Mulan 20th Anniversary banner, there's a carousel of items displayed. If you scroll over, there's the wallet you're looking for, I believe.

Thank you for the link! Out of curiosity, did you just find the link on the main page or somehow search it? I tried searching "pin" via the app and webpage and sorting by "newest" but I couldn't get this to come up. I even tried searching for it expressly by the item name and it wouldn't come up. After following your link and purchasing it, I was able to find a direct link with the new Mulan 20th ads on the front page, but the site's search function never seems to return anything. Any tips?

It always takes a little time for new items to propagate. I don't know why. I think it has something to do with cached pages, but even forcing a refresh didn't change what I could see. On my computer, I had nothing. On my phone, if I went to the website, the front page had been updated. I could see the picture for Mulan 20th anniversary, but if I clicked it, it only showed me the same 39 items I could see on my computer. When I went to the app, I could finally see all the new stuff. Of course, now that I've ordered I can go back to the pages on my computer and see everything.

It's just one way buying new stuff is annoying. It takes the community to get things done, because it doesn't show up for everyone at the same time. At least the pin is LE1850, so everyone who wants one should be able to get one. But it won't be the trader everyone hopes it is (like the Silhouettes).
