Anyways, Hi! My name is Karina and I'm back on the Forum! I took a long time away from Pin Trading to focus on real life and with things winding down, I figured I could come back to the hobby! If You guys still remember me-HI! If you don't then Hello it's nice to meet you! My main collection is Aladdin but it's slowly shifting to Marvel (well, as slow as the Mark XLIII). I also collect Jessica Rabbit, the Aristocats, Kingdom Hearts, Tangled, and a few other things!

I'm an artist who likes to draw all kinds of things, and I participate in terrible tumblr fandom and culture. I also do nerdy things like play video games, marathon shows on netflix for hours, role play, and fawn over the Supernatural and MCU actors. I'm also an artist! That's a thing I do.

So I guess things have really changed since I've last been on here so I'd appreciate it if y'all could help me catch up to speed! From what I can tell on pinpics, Tangled is still hot, and Frozen's just as popular, right? Do people still trade at DLR? What happened to DLR's meet ups and Pin Trading Nights? And did we ever get a second wave of PODM? If not, is there another monthly release this year that's like it? Also anything else I miss? It's been about a year and a half since I've really come back to trading and I know I missed a whole lot!

It's great to be back and I can't wait to get back into trading again!

Welcome back! I remember you!

There were PODMs for only two years, rumors for two more years, but nothing yet released any more on the PODM front.

Tangled is hot, but not as hot as it was before.

Frozen has chilled down quite a bit since the DVD release and also because Disney is releasing too many Frozen pins, it's hard to keep up.

WDI is still (sort of) hot, but it seems like everyone and their brother has a hook-up with WDI.

DSF has gone way down, they now have PAID events.

DLR's last PTN was March 2014, in connection with the Anna/Cheshire PTN pins being released (another overnight campout).

WDW is having it's first paid PTN this month, I think next week. We expect DLR to soon follow ($10/per person) but probably not until after the 60th anniversary celebrations.

There are still Piece of Disney History pins, those are monthly except for 2014, they didn't release 1 or 2. LOL.

yeah I figured people ended up knowing a billion WDI people, but that was happening when I last left too lol

I did go to that PTN but I'm surprised they're going to make us pay. Gross :\ Also Can't believe the events for DSF are pay-only, too. Kind of lame that DLR might get a paid event soon, too but I guess $10 isn't TOO bad, but there's always the chance they can up it.

Welcome back.

Official pin trading tables at DLR were taken out. There is groups that get together on Sundays. I am throwing a pin trading party May 2nd when we come back down to throw a party.
