2013 Fairytale Designer Collection
I will try to find some of the ones I had seen and post themthat's so cool! do you have any links or pictures to some good examples, I'm looking to start doing the same.
Hi Lady Ariel, was yours an online order or an expo order? Just wondering if they are doing the online orders first and then the expo ones as i havent received my shipping email yet.
Does he really? I don't unbox, and all I can see are the coat tails hanging over his rump area.I like that beast at least has a furry tail
I agree that this is my favorite Belle and Beast. I am not a fan of the Designer Belle or the LE 17" ones.Congrats sheldoal! This set is also one of my favorites and the best BatB dolls that I've seen in a while!
I liked them from the original pics, even when it mistakenly appeared that they were same height, and seeing them in person just blew me away. I think, in particular, I am fascinated with Beast. Definitely see what people meant by "pics don't do justice; must see in person." The hollow hair area is a bit weird, but I don't see it when he is on display, so who cares. Hope you love them! And if you don't, you can get a pretty penny for them on secondary market. How cool is that.I should get Belle and Beast tomorrow. i cant wait to see them in person. I have yet to see them in person. By the time I got to the store (and missed out on their raffle) the display was even gone. Hoping that I love them.

I really love this entire collection and think this is the most beautiful Belle doll they've ever created. BUT Beast's floating head really bugs me. I'm not sure what they could've done about it without sending production costs through the roof, though, so I can look past it--or at least try not to think about it. It's so weird that you can look under his chin and see inside his head. I realize the solution is to display them low enough you can't see it, but these dolls were on display up high in the store, and it looked pretty stupid.
I pick up my set on Friday, so I'll know soon enough if he'll look okay in my display. I guess instead of complaining I should just be happy I managed to get a set online after the raffle eluded me.
Good luck to all of us trying to acquire Eric and Ariel next week!
I got my blast off email from Disney today! Means that my designer set is on its way! Yay I am so excited! I am a little anxious about the shipping though. I got my limited edition dolls sent to me (along with a few other items I had ordered) and because of the dimensional weight it ended up costing me $400 to have it all shipped to me! That is pretty much 4 more limited edition dolls!!
Which means that getting this designer set shipped to me is probably going to cost me a little over $200Gosh I wish I lived in the US!
Oh my gosh! I never noticed. I went to look just now, and you can see emptiness. His jacket is pulled over enough on mine that I didn't really notice till I looked specifically at that area. So he has floating head and hollow hair. Oh well. I love him anyway.I really love this entire collection and think this is the most beautiful Belle doll they've ever created. For some reason, the way you wrote about the Beast's floating head made me laugh. I just got my doll set in today and oh my gosh, I am SOOOO glad I got them. I almost decided against it because I wasn't sure (I don't live by a Disney Store, the closest is 4 hours away) so all I had were the pictures to look at, but in person, they are the best Belle and Beast dolls Disney has ever made, in my humble opinion. I was a little shocked when I noticed Beast's head was "floating", and it almost bothered me, but I am going to try to fix his jacket to try to cover that "dead" space, or just display them so it isn't too noticable.
I can imagine with plastic in way, it might be hard to get good picture. I think it is adorable that he has fluffy tail, even if I can't see it on mine. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!Im not a deboxer but I can see his tail in the back of mine. I'll try and get a pic but might be too dark.

This is the only set I have purchased so far. I mainly collect TLM stuff, so I am definitely going to try to get Ariel and Eric. They are the couple that I MUST get for my collection, which I might add, is pretty cool.

My sister just got her blast off email too! However, she has 2 tracking numbers one for the dolls and one for the bags. I found that funny. two packages and one of them for the gift bags? Does it appear like this for anyone else?

Whew! So glad that you got the shipping confirmation e-mail. I'm also sorry to hear about the gross cost for shipping from the US to Australia. That is really painful to hear! In the end, though, I am sure that you will be very happy with all of the new dolls when you have them in-hand!
