Ok. So the Ariel and rapunzel mugs are on sale again.

The total with shipping(USPS flat rate) and tax is going to be $31.8

If you are out of the country and you want them, the shipping price will be higher.
 
I was in London yesterday and visited Oxford Street and the Shepherds Bush Westfield, both had full quotas of Snow and the Prince. I really liked Snow in person but not enough to get her in the same week as Rapunzel sadly. Oxford Street had some lovely Princess Christmas decorations, whilst they only have Tiana on the website they have more in the store - everyone except Pocahontas, Mulan and Tiana. My partner and I got Rapunzel, Belle, Ariel, and jasmine. The cast member asked if we were collecting the set and recommended getting them quickly as usual! She also thought they would do Mulan and Pocahontas, but in her opinion Mulan, Pocahontas and Jasmine are the fastest sellers in all merchandise. An interesting opinion from her at least!
 
Really interesting to hear that all dolls were still left in the London stores! I wish they had them in my local store so I could appreciate them in person. Massive difference compared to 2011!

wonder how long they will keep them and will they ship them back to the US?
 

it was interesting to see, because the set did actually generat more than enough interest, lots of people looking at the sets, picking them up. However everybody, quickly put it back down when they saw the price tag. What was interesting though, was two conversation I overheard from people complaining first about the price tag being too high, but then agreeing that as it is a limited edition it should really be aimed for collectors... When I got to choose mine, and went to pay for it at the cashier, I got quite a lot of looks from people haha.

@Nightmaremermaid thank you for uploading the picture. Can you explain to me how you got it to work? I must have done something wrong. Glad you like how they have been rearranged. I like them more like this as well. I was kinda hoping I could fit my 7 dwarves in the box, but it looked really overcrowded and messy so I got them back out. All I need now is the LE ariel, or the Ariel and ERic couple and I will be a happy man.

Well, I placed an order from DS.com and it came the other day......and, guess what???? My designer lithographs came bent in HALF!!!! Longways:/ I called for them to send a replacement and now they are SOLD OUT
 
Ummm... Not to be all nit-picky, but DFDC Flynn is not accessorized with his satchel. Flynn has a separate belt pouch that is attached to one of the two belts that he wears. His satchel has a much longer strap that hangs over his shoulder.

Oh, you are right! That is a shame, I don't remember him putting the crown in his pouch at all during the film. Didn't he loose it when he threw it full of apples to Maximus during the boat ride? Or was that a different bag... I wish they would have given him the satchel as well as the pouch.
 

Rapunzel had the satchel since the tower scene, I'm assuming that's just a secondary bag that Flynn had.
 
Can't wait for more!! The placement of Fynn just bothers me!!! You can't see him from straight on! You have to turn the box. It just looks funny!! I wonder what the most popular set will be? Ariel you guys think? Belle??
 
Hands down it will be Ariel. My CM's are already not looking forward to that day.........I think Belle will be the second most popular. However, I'm still getting Rapunzel and Eugene, I love those two too much to not get them!

If I knew how to use GIFs, I'd be using one with this line: "OH COME ON! What's it gonna take to get my satchel back?"

Thanks, I just watched it the other day too ^^ totally forgot.

As for popularity - it took LE Ariel about 2-3 days to sell out I think, so it will probably happen the same way for this year's designer. I just don't think there is any way that these set will turn out anywhere close to Dollmaggedon.

BTW - how much do ya'll want to bet Disney increases the price of the 17in LE's because of how fast Ariel sold out? Their model is often not to make much more, but to just make it cost more. Personally, I say up the edition and drop the price - let more people get the product they want into their hands, exclusion is no fun.

Oddly (and sadly), the Disney Store Flynn Rider dolls have never been given his satchel! The original Mattel Flynn Rider doll is the only one that has ever been given his satchel that I know of. It's weird that the Disney Store would neglect such an obvious accessory for Flynn...


I seriously hope that they don't go there! They did raise the price of this year's LE dolls by $0.45 in the USA up from the previous retail price of $99.50, but they also pretty much raised all of their product prices from $xx.50 to $xx.95 across the board. But if they were to raise the 17" LE doll prices significantly this far into the series would be very disappointing, especially since after LE Ariel, the most popular princesses would have all been released (Belle, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Ariel). It would not make a whole lot of sense for them to increase the prices a lot for characters that are considered "less popular" if they are not made with even more impressive designs and/or materials. But as always, who knows with Disney? I actually wonder if they will continue making the future LE princess dolls as LE 6000 or if after LE Ariel will they return them to LE 5000?

 
I was wondering if they might actually reduce the edition size on some of the princesses like Mulan, Pocahontas, and Jasmine. They are not considered to be as popular.....I really hope they don't skip those dolls all together though! They have already re-released Mulan and Pocahontas on Blu-ray so I fear that they might skip them...I think they will do Jasmine and I bet they will do an Aladdin since Aladdin a a popular prince. I don't think they will raise the price drastically because they might not be able to get people to buy then. But like we all know, who knows with Disney? They always come up with new things to surprise us!
 
Hey guys was wondering if any of you from uk no if we are having a raffle for Rapunzel? I ordered Snow online, and went to the store a few days after release and they still had like 20 dolls! I'm expecting Rapunzel to sell quicker. I want to pick Rapunzel up in store instead of ordering her. I was planning to turn up when the store opens but don't want to get their and be told I have to wait hours for a raffle! Will they only do the raffle if its busy? Do we have them in the uk? x
 
there are no raffles in the uk!
 
the only french disney store that sell the fairytales couples still didn't recieve the Rapunzel set..... It 's possible that the only french disney store don't get the dolls tomorrow. Are we the only european store in that situation? Did you call your disney store?
 
You didn't understand, they still didn'"t recieve their stock yet. They had Snow white a week before the release in their store stock. But she is released tomorrow and they still didn't recieve the dolls at all . The manager said himself , they don't know if they will recieve it for tomorrow or not.

EDIT: seems it 's confirmed. They won't have the set for tomorrow.

So is the french store the only one, to not recieve their stock in time for the release tomorrow?

I'm so upset i wrote them a letter, since mail or phone call don't do anything. I really wonder if tomorrow, the french store will be the only in Europe to not have the doll like it was planned. Now it's confirmed i'm really MAD
 
Oh I am so sorry for you pupuce! Is the Rapunzel stock still on its way to your store or are they not going to carry her? I hope they don't cancel international sales because the Snow Doll is still on the shelves in some locations (as mentioned earlier by our UK friends). Hopefully, she is just a couple of days late getting to your store and you will have her very soon.
