2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II

I think they look much better in person. Especially Tinkerbell. I like the shiny fairy dust skin. Zarina's buttons look loose.

Here Tinker Bell and Zarina have the slip cover and top acrylic cover of their display cases taken off, so they are in the clear. They are temporarily next to my computer desk, in front of my Harrods Anna and Elsa Doll Set. It is curious that both sets of dolls consist of a blonde and a redhead. At first, I didn't really care for the "shine" of the dolls. However, looking at your picture, the shine makes them look more "fairyish" to me. I think I kind of get it now.

I had back to back doctors appointment and could not make it to our store. And you know by my user name that I'm a Tink fan. I got home around 2:30, picked my grand daughter up at 3:30. Once home I thought oh what the heck, it's only a phone call. My favorite manager answered and I asked do you, I only want Tink. She says, I have two. You are kidding, I'm leaving now. She had one put aside for me and I almost fell over when we pulled the sleeve up to reveal number 93. WooHooo, talk about luck. I didn't want the other.
On another not and sorry to derail thread, do you think pins will be available online. Any rumors?

Wow, so with the old designer dolls, it was $25 shipping to Canada. Now for some reason it's $50. I can't justify spending more than double the price of these dolls when you combine duty and conversion rates. The shipping is just as much, if not more than my LE Anna doll. What's up with that Disney?!

So not happy about this. My LE Anna doll is almost twice the price, weighs more and is bigger in general, yet the shipping is the same price for that. When shipping is 2/3 the price of the actual thing you're purchasing (and it is not going overseas or anything, merely traveling 30 minutes north of the border) then they should look at their options for shipping. I'm more interested in the princesses, but my sister is a huge Tink fan and I wanted to get one for her to display in her baby nursery since she'll be giving birth very soon. Oh well, good thing I didn't tell her about it so she can't miss it!
