Just spent a few minutes looking through FB pictures .
I'm loving the Villains WDI pins , I like the fans too but nothing I'll be desperate for .
Nothing from DSF for September / October for me (thankfully) and no PTD's I'm desperate for so perhaps the Villains are doable , I just need to skip a few luxuries for a while
Sidenote ~ The Hidden Mickey's are some of the least impressive sets I've seen so far , perhaps they'll look better in person

I especially love the PATF fan. But they're all so pretty!

Siu: Did you see the Little Brother PTD?! There's only one Up one that I saw but it's Kevin's babies so my wallet is dreading it...

I'll just leave this here (and start praying now for the miracle that places this pins in my collection):

I'm not sure how I feel about Carl's legs...

Oh yes, Epcot Pin Event started yesterday. The annual blow to the "I'm really trying to cut back on my buying," resolution. However, if WDI is going to be where it's at in 2017, I'll be able to mostly ignore them with not having access anymore and otherwise being priced out. So my bank account will be okay.

But I'm really happy that DLR's hidden mickey series includes the bathroom signs! I've been wanting the WDI versions for forever, but not at $50 a set.

I can't even keep up at this point. I just keep seeing Alice pins that are adorable and start hyperventilating, and then I see more pins and ... <wheeze wheeze wheeze>

The new pictures have brought wine and food pins, villian tsums, and new stuff that is fantastic! Though that glitter Cinderella came out in the park pack this month and she's really nice.

Just to add to your pain , the PTN pins from the recent event at DLP are all Up! characters too

And yet people think that Disney doesn't care or is cutting back on selling pins. (quality is another issue and another discussion)

Now imagine trying to keep up, a decade ago where the market was strong enough to generate maybe 3 times as many releases. :anxious: So deep breaths, prioritize and then be happy that when there is an inevitable lull in releases for your collection, there will still be something to search for.

I agree, but I will say that the vast majority of of the truly stunning pins are at proprietary stores or off-park (like DSSH and WDI). I wish they would infuse the parks with a bit more higher quality releases. But, that could actually be a very bad thing from a collection point of view, hahah.

I think the Timeless Tales series is probably the nicest set the parks have put out in a while, and those are so riddled with quality control issues.

Perhaps just more "event" or themed releases like the Alice one would be nice. :3

I agree with Merlin. I'm a sucker for the DSF/DSSH pins and the few WDI pins I can wrangle, becuSe they are spectacular. The Mermaid marquee? NEED. Along with all the fishie girl PTDs.

But, I wish they'd put more into the rack pins but keep them for shorter periods of time. I'd also appreciate higher LE numbers but that's a whole different argument right there.

All in all the OE pins shown are awesome and I hope this trend continues.
