2017 PTD Discussion Thread - UPDATED 11/28/17

It honestly seemed like they were trying to avoid flipping today. The manager kept saying that they weren’t supposed to flip today and they only had 1 register open despite the line and an abundance of workers just standing around.

Now dreading the release of Alice and White Rabbit if all pins are selling out within hours of release as I can't always get there right away. :(
 
This one is pretty bad, the line is wrapped around the building, in the alley behind us, and there was a lot of fighting and cutting at the front... we've been in the same spot for 30 mins while they figure out the line problems... >.>

I heard people cussing and fighting before we started making it closer, this was I think the worst one I've been to so far... pretty happy we were part of the last group coming in though :)

I was at work until about 6:15ish when starry texted me. I forgot my wallet at home and had to pop in to get it. My roomie was home and I blurted out that the ice cream pin changed to Joy and did she want to come, and she took me up on the offer! We made it to DSF at around 6:30ish. We got into the shop at 9:30. We must have gotten some of the last Joys, if it sold out for Sami.

And with a massive sign of relief:

Mind you, I didn't wait that long to get on Flight of Passage (without a FastPass), but I'm so so glad that you got your Joy PTD! I bet you'll sleep better for a while, since you don't have to worry about when it'll drop anymore. Haha.

Oh good! I saw On Facebook the PTD flip was a dammed goat rope so I’m glad you were able to get Joy! When I saw the flip you were the first person I thought of!

Last night, I was trying to get to my fantasy football page, when I managed to get to Facebook instead. My most recent post was the DSSH post with the flip posted "2 min ago." I flew into the DPF chat room hoping someone had your info, and thankfully Li was there. I was nervously watching this thread all night hoping you made it on time and I'm so relieved to see that you did!
