HAH! That might work!

Well, dang. This definitely confirms no trade event in June, since there is no way they'd do an event and two releases in the same month.

New Judy pin! But.....Zootopia isn't set in America....
So lol. I think they did it more for people to support police not really because of America. Its really obvious with the pose they choose.

Mmmmm....I'm not sure about that. The other three characters don't fit the police theme, and that's a very common pose for Judy pins.

I think it's more that she's a popular character so the pin will sell well, a lot of American characters have already been used in the last few years, and Zootopia is America-ish so she kind of fits so just slap her in there.

I mean Judy specifically not the whole set.

Not complaining, but why is little Charlotte in the set? I mean, she’s adorable, and yes PATF takes place in America, but she still seems super random.

Am I missing something?

That's the same vibe I got from the Judy pin. It may not have been intentional, but I wouldn't be surprised if people make that association with it, either.

On another note, the Incredibles II (Incredibles 2? IIncredibles?) comic book pins seem really cute. Wish they made one for Violet, though.

I'm really mad this pin is too identical to this badge pin... the only saving grace will be if it's pin on pin, and hard enamel instead of soft...

HotArt is putting on a trade event in Vegas on July 7-8:

Pinopolis

Included is the opportunity to purchase a set of five Stitch pins only available at the event, and lanyard trading with LE200s only available on the lanyards. (I am not sure of these are the pins for lanyard trading, but it's the image that went along with the lanyard trading section and I don't recognize any of these pins as already released.)

One of the event exclusive Stitch pins:

So is the lanyard trading free for guests or only the paid ones?

Also, do they only accept hot art pins as trades for the lanyard pins? That’s why they have hot art pins available cuz they want only hot art pins on the lanyards?

Sounds like it’s a fun event though... anyone wanna go!?

I received the email and thought it looked like fun. Their pricing and access always seems a bit confusing... but it appears you have to pay for something in order to be able to trade with the lanyards... the different packages reference something about including 10 lanyard trades. It also appears you have to trade an Acme pin for the Lanyard trading. The promo says they are selling tradable pins for under $10 at the event.
I might go... could be a lot of fun.
