2018 Pin Releases

The Paradise Pier one was not at Pin Traders (DLR) today. They thought there would still be some at Paradise Pier gift shop. Both Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian were at Pin Traders in large numbers, and probably also at the respective hotels. I think the hotel Christmas pins are some of the best pins they make!
 
They did use Gladstone early in the DuckTales reboot. I forget how obscure he is in animation because he shows up regularly in the comics. Which, come to think, are huge in Europe, so it does make sense for DLP.

The whole reboot is fantastic. :) I love that Panchito and Jose have been shown too! Not loving that the José PTD is wicked expensive though, since now I need him and Panchito, if there is a ptd of him.

There's also another series out there called The Legend of the Three Caballeros that came out in the Philippines, but you can find the episodes on Youtube. It's a lot more like the comics, with it's classic character design.

Legend is good, if definitely a kids show. The Animation alone is enough to keep watching. But the plot and humor is kinda wooden, at least from the first 3 or so epidoses.

The Ducktales Reboot is astoundingly good. I can't praise it enough.

It gets better, although I can't exactly remember everything that happened in the first season, so it's definitely forgettable. But really interesting to see April, May, and June act very similarly to another set of triplets.

I did like the girl triplets. That was a nice touch. I think Panchito being a bit of a dunce was a turn off for me. But still, it wasn't bad, especially for the target audience. :)

OMG, I just seen a picture of the Kingdom Castle Surprise Pin on the Pins blog, I have a need for that pin. lol LE 300 though and it’s a Jumbo, probably going to cost me a fortune if anyone is even willing to sell it on the bay or whatnot. Best looking pin I’ve seen in a while.
