hahaha... I thought this about the Mulan pin set from the DS that released in 2018. At 1850 it still sold out (in the US) in about 6 hours. I had a friend (Mulan collector) and I flagged her on it... she said she would buy it when she got home after work. When she went to buy it, it was sold out. Since the one I bought was to trade, she was covered. But don't want to miss out on this pretty Mali pin... since this one would be for my collection.

Location: Star Wars Launch Bay, Tomorrowland, Disneyland Park

Join us for a Disney Pin Trading Night Event and meet other traders, make friends and share stories about your collections.

Admission to the Pin Trading Event is $20 per Guest and includes the following:

  • Pin Trading Area
  • 1 edible treat
  • Preview of upcoming pin releases
  • First opportunity to pre-purchase select themed pins from the Sleeping Beauty Collection via the Random Selection Process.
  • Available only for attendees of Disney Pin Trading Night, the opportunity to pre-purchase Pin Trading Nights themed pins via the Random Selection Process.
Register for the Disneyland Resort Pin Trading Night Event beginning at 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Please note that space is limited. Register now.

Things to Know Before You Go:

  • The Disneyland Resort has updated park rules regarding items that may be brought into the theme parks. Guests should be aware of the restrictions on bags (including suitcases, backpacks, trailers, wagons) and folding chairs. Please carefully review the list of prohibited items and other park rules.
  • Theme park admission is required but not included as part of the event. Guests 3 years of age and older must have an event ticket to enter this venue. Event check-in will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Starcade, Tomorrowland, Disneyland Park.
  • Guests of Disneyland Resort Merchandise Events must register in person and may not register for another event Guest.
  • Parking is not included as part of the event.

I’m guessing WDW event will be the next week since Princess run is going on February 21. Also, WDW RSP is due one week after DL.

I see that now. That's unfortunate. SB is my sis' favorite movie and she was so excited for all of these pins. She is going to be at WDW for the princess.
 
Not that the entry fee is all that high, but who needs/wants a sponsor?
