2019 pin releases
My random thoughts:

1. I'm sorry but I really don't like the look of the new windows. They all just look really off/creepy to me. And not in a good way. Even the villains went downhill after the artist switch. I think it's just tough to carry out someone else's vision.

2. I'm not an Up collector, but I really like their 10th anniversary LEs. I might need to just get them due to the quality like I did with Nemo this year. Disney seems to do a very nice job on anniversary pins these days (RH and SitS were also really great pins.)

3. Any additional details on the Disguises mystery set? Are they LE? Chasers? Etc? I would be very happy for them to be the big mystery set for the year, but PLEASE don't make all the chasers just color-reduced copies of the primary pins.
 

They're definitely pretty unique and well-thought out. The puzzle is good, not great, but I'll probably need the whole thing anyway. Betting on Old Ellie and Cone of Shame Dug OR Middle-Aged Carl and Ellie as the chasers.

Yeah, I was definitely referring more to the individual pins. Most of the puzzle sets don't excite me.

The box for the Disguises set says limited release, which I believe is what the alphabets etc. were labeled. Then again, the box seems to have a clear window in front, so maybe they'll be reveal/conceal?

I'm thinking R/C as well, like the LR Storybook Steeds.

The box screams R/C to me, too. In which case, perhaps Stork Robin is one of the conceals? Could also be Fortune Teller Robin/Little John or Old Man Robin.
 
I love the L&S hug pin, but who is Jasmine hugging?? Could it be... baby Rajah???? Man, I hope so! Also, love the Jumbaa & Pleakley disguise pin, and second the idea of ENG in the mix. I mean, at the end, Kuzco turned into about a dozen new animals (bird, whale, etc. etc.). Good job from Disney in going to new pin ideas!
 
I think it's because all these new good characters have that bland and blocky skin tone color on them. All the villains were so colorful, and had that nice translucence, but now the good characters just have so much flat color on them? Total swing and a miss, I agree

Aww, Jasmine looks off-model in the Aladdin set. At this point, I would just want Genie and Carpet and the backing card, lol.

Still looking forward to the Aladdin/Jafar/Genie/Abu OE and the Jasmine hugging baby Rajah?? Omg, that's amazing, I totally want it. xD Speaking of the hugging set, I need that Baymax and Hiro hug, and I wonder if there'll be a Nick and Judy hug? :3 Or the Mulan group hug? Honestly, Disney movies just have a lot of good hugs, haha.

I love the Disguises set too! I want that Peter Pan in Hook's clothes, and...is there any chance they'd put in a street mouse Jasmine?? (I guess they could also add Prince Ali, but I prefer Jasmine in this case. :3)

I really want to like that Mulan Mother's Day pin, but Mulan looks a little off-model. :/ And the Aladdin and Jasmine on Carpet has a really promising design, but Jasmine seems to have her updated look (which I don't like)? I'd have to see a better picture.

There are just so many other pins here that I'll be looking out for! My wallet won't be happy with me in the coming months...

The new Alice and Peter Pan hinge pins. At least one each to take to Paris, but up to 3 each if possible (same reason).

Are you going back? You're usually a Thursday park dweller, yeah?

I wonder the chances they'll be around until next Thursday if no one can do it...
 

Yeah, I'm usually just there on Thursdays. But if for some reason I pop up again before next week, I'll let you know.

And considering it's le 4000 (so 2000 per park), I would expect them to last for at least one week. Since we haven't seen a selling pattern yet for them, it's hard to say, but I bet they'll still be around next week.
 
So evidently there was some sort of promo event promoting the new Disney animated series, 101 Dalmatian Street, in France yesterday.
One of the gifts given to attendees, was this little pin of one of the main characters, Dolly

The show hasn't officially premiered yet, but they released one episode and some shorts in Europe and I'm already crazy about it! Dolly is also so far my favorite character. The show is supposed to premiere in Europe soon (I believe the pin card says March?) and then it's supposed to air in the US a month later.

Side note, if any of our European friends come across one of these pins, and can help me get one, I'd be super appreciative!!

Looks like Disguises may be a Reveal/Conceal with the box having a clear front??
