Epcot kids sounds like some weird unfinished (due to his death) sci-fi society that Walt created. Segregated from society, and more advanced. Using animatronics as their main source of technology but creepily worshipping the purple dragon.

The ones left in charge would be called “cast members” who act like it’s a utopia to hide some crazy secret. And the elders who are never seen would obviously be the imagineers. Of course there has to be 1 imagineer that warns the outsiders that this place isn’t what it was supposed to be and how it’s a mistake blah blah I’m done

Everything is likely still stuck on ships out in Long Beach waiting to be unloaded and trucked across country to the warehouses with no idea of when they'll actually receive anything.

Last I heard over 100 container ships are out there waiting.

(Also why the grocery shelves are bare. And park merch quantities are reportedly low, too.)

It also could explain why WDI just released their Christmas pins in mid-January - stuff is arriving late!
