A Request for Help...
Well I was initially informed of this when two different DPF Members sent me text messages this afternoon to explain the situation and ask if there was any way we can help…
Well of course the first thing in my mind is a game to raise funds… But to be honest, my wife had banned me from games until the MOD’s make a decision as to how to handle them…
But unfortunate news brought a much needed reason for her to give in and let me have one last very special giving game…
A member of our DPF Family had to be hospitalized last Saturday and is to remain there until Thursday at the earliest… They are conducting tests and continue to monitor their condition… I would like to keep their name anonymous as medical issues are personal… I will say they are a single parent and a week off work without pay alone will put the family in distress… there are utilities, rent, food, and numerous other expenses that many of us would like to try and help with…
I will be accepting donations of pins for the giving game #2 as well as any other donations anyone would care to make… I will need the list of any donated pins via PM by Thursday so that we can have the game start on Friday…
As with all my games, everyone is a winner in one form or another and the funds gained will be donated to the family to assist them during these tough times…
As this may be my last game my wife permits me to do… I am hoping it will be bigger and better than our last great giving game…
For those of you who know this member, I ask that you keep their name confidential out of respect…
