ZAPPED! An epic gift
Yesterday my daughter called to inform me that a HUGE PILE OF PINS was delivered in my absence. Inside a package(box, envelope) was what I believe to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 20+ packages of sealed Mickey Earhats, Icon Mickey's and Emotion Mickey's all from (Josh) JADESTARR!!
I sent a message asking if they had any of the Mickey Earhats for sale as I buy pins for the kids in the Cancer Ward at CHO (Childrens Hospital Oakland) and they said oh sorry we are all out. Well inside the package was a note that said "sorry I lied about these" and "for the kids" and attached to it was a personal zap for yours truly directly from both my wants list and my Star Wars nerd gear list.
PERFECT timing as my DD's appointment for a follow up ultrasound was yesterday so she was able to take them all to director of the activity center at the hospital. She actually cried when she saw them, if there are ANY deserving kids on earth the ones in that hospital are at the tipity top of that list and they always need more than what they have to give.
Yet ANOTHER awesome gesture, making TWO in the same day!
