Are there any veteran collectors willing to adopt a newbie, take me under your wing?

I just started collecting in January, my personal collection(one day my niece 's) consist of 15 pin between my two themes. I mainly collect Jessica Rabbit/Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and very few NBC, but some! I am just looking for someone, or multiple people, who have been collecting for awhile and would be willing to take me on like a little brother? Someone who can assist me in growing my collection by helping find some awesome pins at reasonable prices (since you guys know where to look); to help me avoid fakes and learn all the pin stuff I do not know yet! I recently have had to learn to live on a very limited income due to uncontrollable circumstances, so it might be a lengthy adventure building my collection, but I thought with some help and others knowledge, maybe the process could be sped up a little, lol!

Never been to CA, it is a must see ASAP, have wanted to visit Cali since I was a kid!!! Actually, I wanted to live there for years, lol! Making my way, MI to CO, now CO to CA, ha ha! Hopefully in the next year, I have been to WDW many times, but never to Disneyland, ugh!
