Did you know that you can see your pending trades? And that you can delete them if they are not fair? So, if you accidentally offer someone a Hidden Mickey pin for a LE 150 (or something obviously lopsided), you can delete or modify it before it is sent?

I ask this because I keep getting a trade request from a well seasoned trader who keeps offering me a HM for a LE. I have responded once with a NO THANK YOU, but he makes the same request almost every other day.

I am aware of it. I think reminding people of it is a good idea. I know a particular trader who will send out massive amounts of TAs and frequently the ones I got from him were HM for LE250s and such. I confronted him about it once and he said that he does not have the time to check them all for fairness. He just sends them out and you never know what you may get in return. I resolved the issue by removing HMs from my want list. It is annoying that I had to make a change to fit his needs, but since I did it I have not got one trade request from him. Amazing how that works.

^^You could also make a separate pinpics account for just Hidden Mickeys that you want, and ones you'd trade for. That way, they wouldn't have access to your LE pins and you may find some HMs you like.

Ive been collecting just over 2 years now and I went for least 14 months without knowing about it, Now I do I check when my requests go in case they go to none-repliers or ones who have said no before to save them looking at my offer lol

YEPPUM,that was always there..and I bet I know who the trader is too...I did trade with them
and when I accepted another trade, that was fair for both..he replies.."YOU ARE a troubled trader"
I will NEVER deal with you again"!!and hes the one sending the"Lopsided trade"

Yep, and use it.

I have a trader that repeatedly sent lopsided requests. I finally stopped replying to them (which is not a norm for me) until they made a sensible offer. Jumped on that one! :D My rule of thumb: Unless they're rude, I'll always look at their offers. I never know if one day - like above - they'll come up with something that is fair and I really want. To me, its all part of the trading game. ;)

That is why I usually have a message that goes along with the trade saying willing to work out a trade, please let me know. That way I can at least get the lines of communication open between me and the other person.

There are very few hidden mickeys that I want. Usually about 5 a year, so there is very little reason for a seperate list. I find it easier to just look at one I am interested in and send a request directly through it. I can usually get my hidden mickeys through friends near the park though, so no big deal.

I had an interesting TA request. One offer, that I found very fair. They Typed in comment however, "MIGHT TRADE" in all caps. I have accepted, but heard nada back. Guess they don't want to trade after all.
Yes, I do try to edit my offers for unbalanced trades. Some traders don't know about this feature. Wish all would use it.

I usually check mine, but every now and then one slips through. I often get lopsided requests, but I realize this is because my wants list is so small.

i always wondered if there was something like this, have been trading for a year now and didn't know about it!! will definitely take advantage. How do i find this section?

After you set up all your trades, go to MY PIN PICS on the left and then there will be a link on that page that says CLICK HERE TO VIEW YOUR PENDING TRADE REQUESTS. You can hen look at each offer and edit as necessary.
